Copperview Storage, in West Jordan, wins in my extensive search for the best rental co. in Salt Lake.
In Feb 2024 I called 11 different storage companies on the West side of Salt Lake valley. 10 of them would not tell me what their history is for raising rents on existing customers, and would not connect me to anyone with authority to discuss it. I had been renting from Extra Space Storage for 7 years, during which time they raised my rent an exorbitant 140%, but would never connect me with anyone to explain why. They are currently charging new customers 120% less than me. Bait and Switch!
When I called Copperview, I talked directly with the owner, Jim. He explained that he treats existing and new customers equally when he his costs require rate changes. I talked to two different people who have rented from him for years, and they each confirmed that rates have risen reasonably, close to inflation. They are pleased with how they have been treated. I started renting at Copperview in Feb 2024 for the lowest rate of any of the 11 companies I had called, for my size unit. He and his staff have treated me very well. Now that is something I can trust.

I was out of the country for 18 months and kept all my belongings in a unit at Copperview Self Storage. They were friendly, easy to work with, and their rates were the best of any local self-storage.

One of the best storage facilities I’ve ever used! The place is clean and secure, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and the rates DON’T CHANGE CONSTANTLY. I have and will continue to highly recommend this place to others.

We had a fantastic experience with the employees & management at copperview storage .we rented this unit for approximately 3 1/2 years.everyone was very friendly!The owner even gave us a 25.00 gift card for Starbucks ??

Family had a storage here for 8+ years and we never had any issues, I now have a storage of my own here and the great customer service has not changed one bit. Prices are low, facility is well kept. Gate access until 10 p.m. makes it really convenient for those who work and aren't off until later in the evening.

This place is ALL ABOUT YOU!
After having the luxury of 2 months (second month free when i signed on) to make my way through purging stuff post move I realize its time to downsize the unit. I have about a week left and think, I might need to pay for the week in the new unit. NOPE!
I call up and explain my request to Teresa (sweetest gal from the east coast) and the first thing she says "Oh we need to comp you for extra 5 days." By the speed and tone of the response I knew that this is their policy, it's how they do.
She then went and found all the units available for me to choose from. And then went on to make sure that i knew where all the power outlets and lights were in relation to these units so that I could pick the best one per my preference. I picked it and immediately went over to do the move.
Only a few minutes in, the owner of the complex pulls up to inform me that there is actually another unit that is 2 over my existing, after apologizing for the initial communication. Honestly I thought i was the only person that cared this much to go out of my way to make sure those in my care get the absolute best care.
Nearly finished with my move from unit to unit, Teresa comes to find me and she apologizes for the missed unit. And THEN, she asks if she can help me. WHO DOES THIS!?!? I want to adopt theses people.
Oh yea, The facilities are immaculate, the buildings appear to be new, well lit, power receptacles ever 5 or so units, security cams everywhere, coded gate on both sides, and the manager lives on site so there is always someone there with a birds eye view right at the entrance!!! Like I said, this is the only place you need to go.

Despite the new places popping up around for storage units, Copperview Self Storage is by far the best. Why? Clean, friendly customer service as well as helpful, NO pests bugs or rodents, easily accessible, good location and fair pricing.Definitely take a look you will not be disappointed. We were able to store a motorcycle, 4 rooms, and a shed worth of item, plus all of my husband's tools from the garage plus a few more items in a 10x25 unit. Do waste your time going to other facilities the owner built this place with his two hands ground up and being a local was a huge plus. Thank you Jim for having such an amazing facility.

Very friendly atmosphere. Waiting almost 2 hours for a unit that somone stated they moved out of. It was the last unit available. So i waited. I also like that its a family own business that i support.

Very accommodating! Excellent location! Very friendly and very clean! Teresa will take good care of everything and responds right away with solutions. Great place... My rate doesn't go up like all the other places. I highly recommend this place!

We have had a storage unit for over 3 years. The facility has always been clean and maintained well. Teresa, who lives on the premises, has been very friendly and even gave me a reminder call when I had forgotten to pay my rent before it was late. I felt our belongings were safe and I would recommend them.
