Valley Nursery has always been one of my favorite places to visit for our garden plants and houseplants so I was absolutely thrilled when I found out my children's homeschool group could take a fieldtrip there! Lori led us on such a fun and informative tour throughout the nursery. It was so fun for all the kiddos and moms. I appreciate the time taken to accommodate us. It will continue to be a favorite on my list to visit. They are fabulous!! Thanks Valley Nursery! :)

Love it. They always have what I need, when regular stores ran out of. Trees, shrubs, roses, raspberries etc, annuals, perennials, herbs, garden decorations - don't forget they have lots on both sides of the road.

We love the variety here. Lots of roses, fruit trees, and even desert plants. The only nursery I’ve ever seen have Joshua Trees. Definitely on the top of my list when it comes to nurseries. The people are so helpful as well.

Valley Nursery is our go to nursery in the Ogden area. Great selection of vegetables, perennials, annuals, and roses. We have never had issues with their plants containing pests. They have very competitive prices on compost, bark, and will even deliver. Brenda and her staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Can't recommend Valley enough!

Talk about SELECTION! I’ve lived in Ogden for about two years and finally made it to Valley Nursery. They r huge and have a vast selection of just about everything. I’d recommend coming in knowing what u r looking for. Everyone there is helpful but it was difficult to find more than one person (Garth - who is GREAT btw) who could actually give me any type of planting options or advice of how to pick / what to pick for the various areas of my yard. Though the girl at check out was ready with tips on how to make my planting successful. I appreciated that! Of course, if u r already a seasoned pro u won’t have any issues! And maybe I’m just not plant savvy enough because for the life of me I couldn’t find more than a few plants labeled for growth in the shade. I saw some PShade and Morning Sun, but that was it. I’m guessing I wasn’t looking in the right area but no one was able to point me to where I belonged - the plants weren’t sorted that way. Yes, I looked in the greenhouses - 4, ,5 & 6 - guess I need a color coded visual so I can see at a glance what grows best where - or something like that.
Or even an online map, maybe???? U know the kind that tells u where to find the item u r looking for? I like the website, mostly. The “wish list” is a nice feature and, in theory, allows u to make comments - I’m assuming for your future reference - BUT does not SAVE them - so that was a waste of time. The search feature works best when u put in the plants name. So if u don’t know what u r looking for, specifically, it is t very useful. I couldn’t get it to sort by “drought tolerant” or other buzz words included on the plants description - even if taken directly from the web site - or other ways - like grows in the shade / PShade / Morning Sun, no luck. Again, maybe I’m using it wrong - and if so, it isn’t user friendly. Well, not from my phone anyway. At least the picture posted on the plants IRL match the website picture so u feel like u found what u were looking for.
The place was packed at 9:30 am on Saturday in May - with a frenzy of people dropping a ton on the gorgeous selection. So u might get swept up in the - “OMG I have to buy this now before they r all gone” vibe. ?
Oh, and U may need to park and walk from down the block, but in all honesty - not that far. And there is someone to help u get all your treasures to your car - another nice plus ? All in all well worth the trip!

The great variety they provide, quality products and the service/help we received to pick the right tree and gardening was exceptional. Patient with my indecisiveness and provided thorough planning and caring advice. Thank you Mark! The ladies at the checkout were also kind/ friendly. It was to nice to find a place that those there seem to enjoy what they do!!! I'd definitely recommend
