We were traveling from Texas in our RV and our shower drain P Trap broke. We drove
across three states in search of a solution to our problem. Michael made our day. He was the solution to our problem. He even cut a special pipe for a custom fit. We didn't want anything for his special service, he only wanted to help. Lastly, he gave us a firm handshake with well wishes. FIVE STARS FOR STANDARD PLUMBING SUPPLY for hiring such a first-class employee.

First I want to say the clerks try to be helpful, but parts system and policies need significant updating. I'm an emeritus GC with a reasonable amount of experience and ability. I bought parts to replace my sprinkling system and main line pressure regulator after seeing mostly good reviews. I spent nearly $1K for parts over a short time with a pre purchase, manager confirmed return policy on any unused items. This turned out to be not the case as well as a frustrating experience. If you shop at this vendor make sure you get and keep all your receipts. Be aware returns are a very tedious hunt and peck process going through pages of receipts to find the exact part numbers and descriptions. More problematic evidently their parts numbers and or descriptions are not consistent time to time, are not bar coded, either that or they miss input them?? They will not and evidently cannot accept any returns without the specific receipt, even if they sold it to you the day before. So be warned they are not Home Depot where if they identify the product as theirs they trust and honor the purchase. Also on one occasion I purchased a few connector bits and they accidentally double charged me. I followed up and even though they promised they would credit my card the next week they never did, nor have they after several months even after I showed the double charge on my bank statement and that it never was credited. No credit, no explanation, seemingly no apparent concern??? Last but not least, check the suggested parts yourself. In another instance a poorly made 1”x 90 degree female connector thread for the back-flow preventer did not hold the male down flow connector. After being in place for over a month it blew out wasting about 40 minutes of pressurized water. After measuring the interior part myself with calipers, I found the female end was slightly too big for the male connector and as well had a manufacture untrimmed edge keeping it from seating well. I went to my local Ace Hardware and purchased the same thing in a schedule 40 PVC and it fit perfectly. We live in a modern era but the old saying “Buyer Beware” still holds. Sorry to say my experience cannot recommend this store.

I didn't like how it took approximately 1 hour to look up pricing for two items and then finally place my order for items that were in my opinion more expensive than compared to other stores. After needing to pay shipping on items, they were shipped slower than paid for and then went back to the store and waited and waited for someone to finally say they didn't have my part. I would never buy from them again and I wish I could go back in time and buy from someone else. I will literally every time I take a shower now think about the poor customer service, time waste, and rip off it was to have these shower faucets

Not a fan of the big box hardware stores, not going to mention names lol. 100% of the time this store has what I need. The pricing is great and the staff is always super helpful. This is my go to for hardware/plumbing supply store.

A little hard to find but this is where the plumbers go. You'll pay a little more compared to Lowes or Home Depot but you're paying for service & knowledge.
