Be prepared to hemorrhage money when shopping here. Everything is 2-3 times what you might pay at your local grocery store. The pot pie I pay under $3 for at home is $8.88. I did not buy it. We bought a cheap corkscrew and a small container of chicken salad and it was $18. The curry chicken salad was actually bad, not even bleh. It just tasted awful and I love chicken salad and curry, for that matter. I couldn't eat it after two bites. :(

The best grocery store in town. Excellent selections whether you are backpacking or in an RV. Loved it.

Got sandwiches here during the holiday around 6Pm and there was a deli clerk making sandwiches while eating....this definitely isn't very safe to do because of the spread of germs, especially since she was putting food in her mouth with gloves on and then making sandwiches with the same gloves... This food establishment definitely doesn't practice food safety or teach it to their staff.

Nostalgic and wonderful, a throwback in time but modernized. My husband and I were in town 5 days and we ate here 4 times, chili is good, salads are fresh, love the little eating patio out front, just a charming place to be. The people aren't very friendly but I don't care, I they do a good job.

I'll state the obvious what you'll experience after three minutes: sticker shock as it's outrageously expensive. For example, a chocolate bar that costs $3.99 at any grocery store is $7.69. The deepest gouge seems to be for beer, ~$17 for a six pack of imported. That said, they have the most extensive selection of any grocery in the Zion area. James was super cool.

This is a great little market. Expensive but has everything you need. We went in a couple of times. The second time we went to the deli in the back to order sandwiches. We stood for almost 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging we were there. There were about 3-4 people working, no one in line before us and yet no one asked us if we needed assistance. When I did ask if they were even open the girl said fill out what you want on the paper and put it in the basket and I'll make it for you....abrupt and rude. I was going to leave but stayed and the sandwich was very good.

Lifesaver as we came into Zion Nation Park at 9pm at night hungry and tired. Only place open for food and what a variety. No just food everything else under the son! A gourmet store with sports supplies ( bought a walking stick- saved my life the next day!) Gifts and many other amenities. Great stope Thank you for being there! Epic!

We went late in the evening when we realized the restaurants around were very pricey and way beyond our budget. We purchased food that we cooked up at our hotel grill that night. The store had a great selection of foods for everyone's dietary needs. It had a great deli, a decent amount of frozen meats and a wonderful selection of snacks. The usual and on the healthy side.

Nice selection of food items and alcoholic drinks. We grabbed some pre-made deli items for lunch. The checkout line is slow only one cashier. There are regular shoppers who live in the area and the line will be very slow if the regulars are stocking up on groceries for the week. I liked their flexible store hours and basement parking which was a bit tight for trucks and SUVs. From a convenience standpoint this is a great store. Prices may not be the cheapest but for the convenience it is a decent shopping experience.

Have been going to this place regularly all winter and TODAY was told that they are unable to help with large parties. The "manager" who came out to inform me of the new policy was extremely rude and unhelpful. Do NOT recommend going here for ANYTHING. I would drive back to Hurricane before ever stepping foot in the doors of this place again.

TL;DR: Latest place open in town (2300 local time); deli; beer & wine; vegan optionsFull review: Night owls beware, this town closes down early, even during peak season according to the market associate. The town, including restaurants, close at 2100 local time, leaving the supermarket the last one open until 2300.My fault but still: at 2030 decided it might be wise to figure something out to eat for later. No delivery options and none of the order online options were working. My Google search results all said 'closing soon', scolding me for waiting so long to figure my dinner out. I quickly skimmed through menus, leaving the one options that closed at 2130 for last. Call place #1 - not accepting take out orders. Call place #2 - no answer. Call place #3 (last option that closes at 2130) - voicemail. So off I head to the local market, literally the last open place in the entire town.Big trucks beware: The parking structure for the market is very low. The nice people have tennis balls hanging from the structure entrance to let you know if you are going to tear your roof off. I have a Land Rover Defender without roof racks and had to lower the vehicle and still irrationally ducked as I drove to a parking spot. Pleasant surprise (doesn't happen often): The deli was closed (not sure what time it closed) but had some selections in the refrigerator section such as salads, sandwiches, wraps, and deli items (macaroni and potato salads, pasta salads, bean salads, veggie salads, etc.). I grabbed a couscous salad and lentil salad. Bakery items were available but none looked vegan, though they had frozen dessert options that were plant-based and vegan. Lots of canned soup and frozen entree selections that were plant-based, as well. Fresh fruits and veggies, too! Overall, not a bad option even if you have no other options. Either bring your own bag, use one of their free boxes, don't buy more than you can carry, or pay $0.10 for a paper bag.

The service here is insanely good. Payton understood my issue.. I dropped my phone on the Emerald Pool hike and it slid into a snow pocket just beyond my reach! I went to the so called ranger at the visitor center who had ZERO empathy and would not help. Park pass dollars hard at work!! fyi.. I met an older couple on the path who used to be park rangers in Zion and explained my dilemma. They both mention that they would of been happy to help retrieve my phone and not risk a hiker getting injured. As I digress, the shop keeper Payton recommend that I try and fish it out with a magnet. I gave it a whirl with a kids rod ? and magnet tied to the end, but to no avail, it didn’t work. So, I said F IT, and strapped my belt to the metal fence and repelled 7 feet and retrieved the phone safe and soundly!!! Hey “Ranger Jane”, put that in your pipe and smoke it! I got my phone back and it was not damaged and continued my way to the Upper Pool. Fantastic hike with a happy ending! On another note, my best friend’s dad passed and I did this hike for him. I’ve learned that you can succeed in anything as long as you put your mind to it. So, I came back to the store and Payton let me return the items in good faith. On a sidebar, if I would not have come to the store (dropped my phone), I would not of purchased Yack-Trax - this gave me a lot more mobility on the extremely slick path.. so one thing lead to another and I was able to safely and securely walk with confidence on the path with the new found mobility. In essence, huge thumbs down to the Young Female Visitor Center Park Ranger behind the info desk who didn’t give a fuk about my situation. HUGE THUMBS UP to Sol Foods Hardware for having empathy and going above and beyond the call of duty. Give this man a raise!!!

Sol Foods rhymes with Whole....well you know. Yes, the prices are about the same. Sol Foods was convenient while staying in Springdale to pick up deli-made sandwiches, chips and a drink to take out on our days in Zion Park and Kolob Canyon. We went 3 times during our stay and the staff were pleasant. You can order sandwiches at the back or pick up pre-made ones in the refrigerators. They open at 7am and close at 11pm, which is really convenient. They offer a variety of food and drink as well as stickers, magnets, postcards and hardware. It's one of those fun stores to wander around, even if you do get sticker shock at the prices.Small underground parking lot, steps from the entrance to the store.Outdoor seating available if you want to eat your deli sandwich there. I would give one more star if the prices weren't so high. Having said that, the options in Springdale are limited, so we were grateful that we could get lunch-to-go and be on our way for the day.

Great store with a great selection of RV repair supplies and other hardware products.
