Was charged for an extra month that I was not there. No options for refund or prorating or anything. They seem nice at first but they don’t care about helping they are there to make money. The guy in the front won’t stand up or walk anywhere to save his life, not even the few steps it takes to get to the check in desk. Be prepared to clean your own unit when you leave! I’m convinced they don’t do an ounce of work except take as much money as possible from you.

Would give a zero star. Place is dirty. Units get broken into often, no dumpster to use and the guy is kinda rude. Do not recommend this place to anyone.

When I first opened a unit, they didn’t get around to taking their lock off the unit. I ended up having to pay for my uhaul extra days since I couldn’t unload it. Now, I called at the end of my leased month and left a detailed message stating I’m cleaning out my unit and wanting to close it. He didn’t call me back until the next day and told me that even though it’s only one day over, I have to pay for another month. While their prices are competitive, they don’t seem to care about their customers and are horrible to work with.

I had a disappointing experience with AAA Sugar House Storage. I needed a unit for one month during a moving transition. After the first day, the access code given did not work. The manager gave me several temporary passwords which also did not work. Finally, about halfway through the contract he provided his own personal after hours code that worked. The bottom line is that I was not able to access the unit after hours for most of the contract period. The manager, David, responded to all my calls but he wasn’t able to solve my problem until half way through the month, and then did not issue a partial credit when I asked for one. I will not use this storage facility again.UPDATE June 25: I received a check for one half of the May rent. I appreciate that.

These guys are Great. I wish I would have chosen to get an outdoor storage unit so I could access on weekend but that's my own fault. highly recommend.

Horrible storage facility. I moved out but had to leave a couple of things behind I planned on donating which want much. I think I left a headboard, a shelf and a small portable dishwasher. I went back to pick up but had been locked out. Figured it wasn't a huge deal...maybe they discarded the items. A months later I see someone selling one of the items on KSL. They had auctioned the unit. I was surprised but thought whatever no biggie. A YEAR LATER I receive a bill for $1,200 for past storage fees. They tried to say because I hadn't come into the office to finalize (which I had) that the account continued accruing charges. They stick to this even after auctioning my unit and rerenting the space a month later. Stay away from this place. They are not looking out for you or your belongings.

I initially had a pretty good experience with Jonathan and Sugarhouse storage. It was close to the house we were moving out of and the outdoor units that we rented were clean and easily accessible. Once we cleared out of our units, I received an email that my account was closed. Great. Then I received an autopay receipt for $85, the cost of one of our units. It took me several tries to get it rectified but after speaking to Jason, I believe my issue was simply overlooked until I wrote this review. Jason quickly contacted me and was diligent about getting the refund taken care of. Pretty good service, just make sure you stay on top of the details.

I had a great experience with AAA Storage! I moved from Virginia to Salt Lake City and needed a storage unit urgently because my moving van arrived before I found a place to live. Jonathan Greensides at AAA was so helpful. He found a unit for me the same day I called. It was right next to the entrance so that the movers wouldn't charge me for carrying my items a long distance. Jonathan also gave me personalized instructions and tips, since the movers would be arriving on a Sunday when the AAA staff wouldn't be there. The whole experience was easy and seamless. The unit was very reasonably priced, too. I will definitely use AAA again if I need a storage unit in the future.
