This review is for Chase Bank, South Jordan The District. I am fairly new to the area, but I was pleasantly surprised by a greeting with a smile. My business was conducted quickly and professionally. The lobby was clean and professional looking. A multi-lane drive through should help insure business is conducted quickly. I would highly recommend.

Make an appointment for a week ahead. Arrive and the "personal banker" decided to take another client and pushes you off to an investment guy WHO ISNT A CHASE EMPLOYEE (he's a JP Morgan employee who just wants to sell you investments WHICH WE HAD ALREADY SPECIFICALLY SAID WE DIDN'T WANT).Banks these days just want to screw anyone over a nickel. Don't trust these guys further than you can throw them. And yes, I'm pissed...Not that they care...

This bank will close your account for no reason and hold your money for as long as they can without any reason. My wife had an account and a line of credit with Chase, we sent a check to the account, that I wrote to pay off the credit card using THEIR app. At this point, for reasons they refused to share with us, they closed my wife's account and keep the money from the check I wrote my wife. They did not bounce the check. They took the money from my bank and just decide to hold onto it. We had to go in with my identification and an electronic copy of the check for an hour while some guy talk to another guy on the phone. Only then did they decide to send us the check via mail after 5 business days. So of you value your money, customer service, and basic human dignity, I beseech you, use another bank. Hide your money under your mattress, or set it on fire, all of these would be better options than banking with Chase Bank.

I don't know what the deal with Chase is... It's nearly impossible to get an answer via phone call, so you'd think that they must be incredibly busy - but then, lo and behold, you walk into the branch and the employees are sitting around, not working with customers or answering their phones. If I'm doing my banking with you, I should definitely be able to get ahold of you if I have any sort of question or issue. This represents deplorable customer service.
