“Our overall experience was good—helpful staff, reasonable hours, convenient location, clean facility. I’m just not a fan of my monthly fee being raised by over 50% every few months. It was just about to be raised a second time but fortunately we didn’t need the unit any more so we got out just in time. My advice to someone renting a storage unit? If you have the option, prepay for as long as you know you’re going to be in there to minimize surprise rate hikes.”

For my situation, it would be convenient to reserve the unit for the future. Having the rent begin immediately makes it hard to plan without paying for unnecessary time.
Forcing me to pay till the end of the month even if I'm planning to be out early also feels like they are 'milking it' on both ends.”

“Alpine food storage is in a small market niche, bulk food purchases. They do a great job in that niche. The new facility is further away from where I live, but the increased variety of foods is worth the trip.”

“The people that work there are always helpful. The place is always clean and free of trash. Only downside was being harassed by AFPD twice on my way to storage so now I'm scared to drive in AF because I've been pulled over 4 times in total.”
“Quiet, clean, and not as expensive as other storage places.The units are a little older, so the doors can be somewhat rough, but our unit was clean, and I don't see any water stains that would suggest leaking.So far, we are very happy with this facility.”

There was a mix up in getting the contract signed, but everyone worked diligently to get all things lined up for me to get moved in. “This storage facility is hands down the best one I have ever rented from!! Whenever I have had a question or needed something fixed if he doesn’t answer the first time I call he has called me back within 10 minutes and has resolved the problem before we hang up the phone. It is extremely clean and accommodating I will always recommend simple storage and only them from now on!!!”
“The employee was nice and helpful. She went out of her way to see if we could get a uhal truck but was out. It was very clean and had product that you can see and to buy for a move. The only thing is there really no signs that show uhal until you get to the door.”
“Every time we've done anything with Sunset storage, their customer service has been top-notch! When we rented a unit from them, they were prompt with responses to any questions and resolved a billing issue when we were done quickly and without any issues.
We've rented uhauls from them a few times, and it's always been a great experience. This last time I locked my phone in the uhaul after I dropped off the key, they answered their phone quickly and grabbed my phone first thing in the morning, when I went in, they even had it on a charger ? I will always go back to them as long as I live in the area!!”
