Came in yesterday to do some major plant purchasing. The place was busy, but half of the people were employees, many standing around talking to each other. I never was offered help and had to say excuse me to employees just to get past them to look at the plants. I felt like I was in their way as I was shopping. Left empty handed.

Fantastic customer service, fresh large variety of fresh cut flowers. Talented and creative floral designers.
I am picky with my flowers arrangements. Usually, left disappointed.
Not this time! Cactus and Tropicals made me the most stunning arrangement possible. Colors, texture, height. A true work of art. I haven’t stopped taking photos.

me and my boyfriend came in to find a plant and all the employees were so helpful! we ended up leaving with 3 plants total! our money tree is thriving and our cats LOVE the cat grass!

This place is a true gem. Whether you're looking for a new plant, a pot, or just want to enjoy nature, this is the spot. They have a wide variety of plants, from common houseplants like succulents to less common ones like bonsai trees. As soon as you step inside, it feels like you’ve entered a tropical escape. In the center, there's a small hut with treasures like books, lotions, and candles. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with any questions. The prices are reasonable, though some of the plastic pots can be a bit expensive. Despite that, this place is wonderful, and I could spend hours here just admiring all the plants. I highly recommend taking the time to visit!

Cactus and Tropicals was a pretty store! The staff was very friendly and nice, it was just a little small in my opinion to be a wedding venue, I believe this location only can have 50 guests. It would be perfect for a small wedding, but it does look like a store with the labels on the plants and the prices everywhere.

The selection of both indoor and outdoor plants at Cactus and Tropical is immense! Not to mention the greenhouse is just stunning. They have such a bright and vibrant greenhouse with plants both to decorate and others to sell.
Even if you aren’t buying a plant it’s worth a walk through the area! (You probably will end up buying something)

There truly is no place like Cactus and Tropicals anywhere in the Salt Lake valley! I recently got into plants and decided to I wanted to put together a succulent bowl/pot with a colorful + unique variety of succulents. I started at Cactus and Tropicals and right off the bat I found everything I needed but decided I wanted to shop around and see if there were any other local places with a good selection to be sure I had the most unique succulents. I tried about 5 other stores and nowhere came close to the awesomeness that is Cactus and Tropicals! The staff is super friendly/helpful and they answered all of my questions about plant care and what types of soil/water I would need to give my plants the best life. The shop itself is incredibly beautiful and well maintained, it’s so relaxing, fresh smelling and honestly a space I enjoy spending time in! They have a well organized + large selection of plants for whatever you’re looking for! They also have a decent selection of pots and containers to house your plant friends! I will say that I wish they had a little more color variety but have still found some really beautiful, high quality pots that I will enjoy for years and years! Oh and lastly, I can’t forget to mention the insanely cool koi pond they have outside! My kids absolutely love to stop by the pond so they can say hi to their favorite fishes! Overall I am super impressed with this place and look forward to my next visit! Thanks for being you Cactus and Tropicals!

I’ve been buying plants here for a very long time. I ordered some 6 inch Pothos from them. I made a mistake, I should’ve asked them how much. They charge me $40 each for six Pothos! That’s embarrassing and no way to treat a customer that has spent thousands of dollars at their shop. I would never order from them again without asking the price. They will gouge you.!!!!!

I could live here. Great selection of plants. A little on the expensive side, but if you love plants, this is a great place to go.

An absolute must go to for plant shopping or just to relax. They have an amazing selection, awesome customer service and pretty fair prices. The parking lot is tight but that's really the only thing that could be approved about this place. Sit by the koi pond for a bit.. you won't regret it.

Went to the Draper store a few days prior and there was zero customer service. Thought I might receive better service at this location. Girl at the counter was quick to point me to another counter for help with my question. There were 3 employees at this other counter, 2 of whom seemed to be cleaning and straightening. Much like my experience with the Draper location, they either ignored me altogether or made eye contact then ignored me. Not a single employee approached me, greeted me, asked if I needed help. I did end up buying some plants here, if only because I couldn't find them elsewhere. I asked the girl at checkout if there were any warranties or guarantees on the plants. She said she wasn't really sure but she's known people to bring back plants years after purchase. Ok then.

This place is such a lovely oasis. Beautiful grounds, great variety, and wonderful customer service. I was helped by Bryson. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and he guided me through all of my plant conundrums. I would have found a less suitable cactus for my plans without his help. He also talked me into picking the right fertilizer for my needs. Great people, great plants, I will be back.
