Big Yeti did an amazing job on our new deck. The entire process was quick, professional, and painfree. We got exactly what we expected and a little more. Out of all of our bids, Sias spent the time to educate us on the entire process and the products they use. They were able to move us up a week early (yeah) and complete a 13x20 deck in two and a half days. Amazing work by your team Sias!

The best decision we made was to work with big yeti. Very easy to work with. We discussed what we wanted and they were able to provide beyond what we imagined. The crew was very friendly and they showed up and got the job done before the original scheduled date. Not to mention they cleaned up all the mess and didn’t leave a sign that they was even here. I highly recommend them for your deck dreams I love what they did fit us

Really great experience with Big Yeti Builders and I’m so glad we didn’t go any other way. Our old deck was on its last leg so I had Sias come and give us a quote to redo it. These guys pay a lot of attention to details. He pointed out that the location of the old stairs was using up a lot of our space because of the walkway needed from the door to get to the stairs. We went with the same size deck, and even though the rail is thicker than the old causing a little loss of space, it feels like we gained some with the new placement of the stairs. Demo/Installation crew was fabulous as well

These guys are great. We spent months getting bids before we found Sias. Sias is super professional and detail oriented. He really impressed me with how he has codified every aspect of deck building within his practice so that every detail is correct every time.Ryan and his crew were very professional, on-time, and kept to their schedule. My wife is due any day now with our new baby and Sias and the crew made sure the deck was complete before our due date. They had a minor problem come up during construction and went above and beyond to address it.They use top quality lumber and composite materials. All posts and joists are straight and true. All hardware is high quality powder coated. All joists are top-taped. Interfaces between deck and house are properly flashed and finished. Deck is over-engineered and feels rock solid. They provide a very high quality and well though-out product.We are very happy with the entire process and the end product.Services: Deck installation

We truly enjoy the quality and craftsmanship of our deck. When you look at it, you see a beautiful deck that is solid. Walking on it, you feel that solid deck beneath your feat. There is no movement of the deck as you walk around. Sias helped us with the design and expansion of the deck. While I was not sure how it would turn out, I am extremely satisfied. I am utterly amazed at Big Yeti's professionalism, craftsmanship and high quality. This company understands the environment of Utah's extreme weather and how to build a deck that withstands the harsh elements. As someone who specializes in teaching hospital leaders about lean six sigma, I was blown away by Big Yeti's attention to quality and quick turnaround time (2 day construction completion) all using LSS skills I teach. Additionally, as a female, I have to point out that I felt deeply respected by Sias and the crew that worked on my deck. Never once did they tell me to check in with my husband or to relay any info to my husband, and instead they treated me as the decision maker. This made a world of a difference to me, since I am the primary bread winner of the household and paid for this project outright. I've watched true craftsman. I am a neighbor behind the home that had their deck replaced. I am amazed at the proficiency, time and, effort put into their work. The camaraderie between the workers made it even better. I would suggest this company to anyone who needs their deck redone.

I cannot recommend Big Yeti Builders enough. We have had so many poor experiences with builders in the past, that we wanted to make sure we found a team that would care about our project as much as we did. These guys fit the bill and more. We had them build our dream custom deck for us which included some home renovations (adding a second door out to the deck from our master bedroom and fixing a bathroom after a solar installer fell through the ceiling).Sias was meticulous in designing, organizing, and planning out the project and also had great communication. Ryan's crew that performed the work were professional, courteous, on-time, performed high quality work, and were always happy to answer questions.The thing I appreciated the most about these guys (apart from their impeccable quality) is that they partnered well on finding solutions for unforeseen issues that came up throughout the build. No project ever goes according to plan, so finding a builder that manages the unexpected well is critical.I will be using Big Yeti builders exclusively for any future home projects. So worth it! Sias was great at designing a deck according to our needs and ideals. Communication was clear and timely. Answers to our questions were clear, concise and thoughtfully researched. Derek and his crew cleared their mess daily and repaired a minor issue with gutter. All our neighbors watched the progress and commented on how well made the deck is. These guys are impressively the best! They re-built and enlarged our deck to our complete satisfaction and delight. Everything is structurally overbuilt, but also with great attention to detail. If it didn't meet their high standards of construction, they fixed it. I'm personally a detail-oriented perfectionist, but Sias, Ryan, and all their employees are even better. They're also customer focused, with great social skills, and readily adjusted to our plan modifications during construction. The "Picture Frame" layout and "Wild Hog" railing are awesome! Beyond theirbuilding skills, and you might not guess it from appearances, but their level of techno-geeky-nerdiness is amazing.
