Charged me 25% restocking fee for returning warped moldy boards they delivered to me. They marked the returned boards as "good" and put them back out in the yard to sell to the next sucker. Burton Lumber does not care about their customers.

Last year when I was breaking ground on my new house I stopped by Burton Lumber and asked them to give me a bid for the lumber for my new house. They flat out said they are not taking on any more customers and refused to sell me lumber. I went to Jenson lumber in sandy and they were more than happy to take my $350k for the lumber I needed for my project. I would never ever go back to these jokers. They thought they could say no to customers. Who is laughing now.

Burton lumber has been the biggest disappointment in a Supplier that I have ever dealt with.we gave the go ahead for our lumber package in January. they never ordered our lumber package for our house and when we follow followed up with him about it in February our price had doubled and then they told us they couldn't sell our lumber to us we had also ordered our trusses through them in January and once we found out that we couldn't get our lumber we asked them to move our trust's back Until the 1st week of August now they won't sell us our trusses, Even though they committed to August, Because they don't get the full lumber package anymore

Not sure which location is responsible, but they need to hire drivers that know a thing about driving.First, they delivered some lumber and dumped it in the middle of the alley where people drive AND IT WAS DARK NOBODY COULD SEE IT.Second, this morning at a 4 way stop the driver slowed down and went on through and if I had not been able to stop for him he would have hit me. Then he just waved at me.Drivers need to know how to deliver, drive, and what traffic laws are.

This place is the worst. I've had multiple bad experiences with them. The most recent one is laughable. I paid for some plywood over the phone, order was totally complete. When I went to pick it up they said the price of lumber had increased since I ordered so I needed to pay an extra $30 per sheet.

WORST customer service. 2 different customer service reps treated me like I didn’t know what I was talking about and rushed me into a final order. I will not be using Burton lumber in Holiday again.
