I've traveled all over the country with my diesel truck and if possible, I always put off repair work, till I get home to have Kent at Absolute Performance take care of it.In the last for years, he's handled major diesel repair work on my last two trucks and always does a fantastic job.He's fair, honest (which unfortunately isn't always the case with mechanic shops) and straightforward.If you need any kind of work for your diesel truck in the Lubbock area, this is where you need to go for that service.

I was traveling and about 1,100 miles from home when I literally blew my transmission in half on a 2012 ram 3500. I had it towed to absolute performance from a reference at the tow company. These guys found and replaced my transmission along with a new front drive line in less than a week and kept me in the loop as to the status of things along the way. When I picked it up I was worried but made it home with zero issues and I can’t thank them enough for the quick and quality repair. I tried purchasing 2 small items from this company. I literally waited 1.5 months about my 1st order and didn’t receive a response for several days, over 4. Once I did get a response from Steve he inquired about my order number in which I responded and gave. I didn’t get a response for 2 more weeks and I had to inquire again about that order. In this span I ordered another item, not sure why but I was remaining hopeful that things would turn around. I waited another 3 weeks before inquiring again about both orders in which I never received a response. I waited another week and again inquired with no response. At this point I wasn’t getting anywhere and had to contact PayPal to get my money back. I completely understand being backed up and having so many orders it’s almost impossible to keep up but keeping me waiting for over 2 months with out any contact about my first order and not even responding about both orders is pretty terrible customer service. Heck I would have continued to wait for both orders if I could have had some communication at all. At the end I feel like the order wasn’t a big enough ticket for it to be a priority. Highly disappointed as I’ve had numerous people tell me of the quality of Absolute Performance products and was really looking forward to getting the items. Oh well I guess, I hope I’m wrong with my assessment of the company and hope they don’t treat the rest of the customers the way I ended up being treated. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone at this point to purchase from them.
