“It was good. It is somewhere if u wanna shop got groceries quick and easy. U can also buy a lot of products from here like candy,hair products,makeup,diapers,etc.I would recommend coming here if u want to grocery shop.”

“March 2023: 5: I would recommend this location. The store has gotten rid of the video rental machine that was here. I stopped by this location to pick up fruit, snacks, and food for the evening. I was happy to find some of the snacks were discounted as well. I guess if it is discounted, then it's probably meant for the same day consumption. Whaaaa...I have to eat the WHOLE cake. Ahm, yeah, no problem. I have not had any difficulty with any workers at this store location. The parking areas are fairly new and offers more handicapped parking areas. Feb2022: I would recommend this location. I needed help on several occasions for items that I couldn't find and one of the workers helped me. Can you imagine that? I got help from a store employee when I asked for help!! I have gone to the customer service counter and I have always been helped in a timely fashion. This visit was a five (5 ) visit. The self checkout lanes are almost always working with a cashier nearby to help with any issue. On many occasions I have come here and have been able to get in and out quickly. I think this is one of my favorite locations. The employees at the front are always friendly and the the cashiers are always there to help with the self-checkout. The fruit and vegetable aisle is always neat without items on the floor or in the aisles. Each time I've gone into the store, the shelves were stocked with items and they were fronted for customer purchase. I checked the restroom while I was there and each time I've gone in it is always fairly clean without paper and items on the floor.”

“This is a terrific place to shop. The people who work here are friendly and even when there's a problem they work really hard to help you out. That also applies to the pharmacy staff. And the greeters and ticket checkers are regular people, friendly and engaging and not looking to make you feel like you're unwelcome.”

“Contrary to some others, I've always had a positive experience at this Tom Thumb. Pharmacy has a drive thru pick up which is nice when I don't have other shopping to do. My sister works at their corporate offices in CA and she encouraged me for years to shop with them, but the Safeway by my old house in Portland just wasn't great. We like the layout and selection and now they also offer the ready cooked meals for a quick weeknight option when I don't feel like cooking a ton. There seems to have been some turnover in staffing recently with a lot of younger new hires, but still see many of the regulars. In this day and age a little kindness goes a long way and I try to be friendly and thank cashiers and baggers by name, I feel like grocery workers are kind of like airline workers - not sure they deserve the brunt of our general irritation and we all know the labor market is super tight these days. Thank you for making a chore not too challenging - we appreciate you!”

“Very good grocery store. We've recently shook up our grocery practices, having been in a sort of Krogers trance for a decade or so, going out of habit to the one near us since it was new. But it's been in steep decline and with the arrival of HEB to the area, we woke up and are examining the grocery landscape we've been blind to. We since have been coming here and we are very pleased! For starters, this place looks immaculate, totally spotless, so orderly and neat it's amazing. We even said "this place is roughy the same age as the Kroger up the road and this proves Kroger has no excuse to look so dilapidated, when THIS is possible in roughly the same area". It's so orderly, I couldn't help but even straighten up the voids I made in the products as we shopped like I worked there! Haa! I just respected it, you know? Anyway, the prices are on average a bit lower too, some by a lot! I believe the reason is they don't dabble in the annoying point system or the apps to try to hook shoppers into a "marriage" of sorts the way everyone does these days. To not even try to game shopper's behavior or try to track them at all they don't have to invest in it, so everything is straightforward and they have a lower overhead. I LOVE it. I'm done with having Kroger hook me into buying gas from them in a loop of trying to get the most out of points nonsense. Winco is the simple old way and I've missed it (and a little annoyed at myself for missing out all these years, but no more)! The checkout is great, staffed far more "human" than Krogers, and even have the choice in paper/plastic to optimize your sacking. The employees straight-up seem frankly happier to be there, and authentically, not robotically acting out a script. A nice bunch. They surely must be to actually try as hard as they do and it shows by just looking around. I could go on and on, we were very analytical about our "change-over" and we doubtless will be checking out HEB when they finally open, but regardless how good they are too, Winco has TOTALLY won us over and we will be coming back here regularly for good! “Was checking out today and hit the cash back button for $20.00. Immediately got distracted by my Step Daughter and granddaughter as they were hitting the bank. Needless to say I walked away and forgot that$20.00. About an hour later my wife said "you need to call them and see if it got turned in. I laughed but called them. Turns out an employ found it and turned it in. They asked me if I had a receipt, which I did. Drove back up there and after they reviewed security camera's and my receipt I walked out with my $20.00.
