Traveling for business and stayed here for a week. The room has a king size and is a bit cramped. My shower is leaky and hardwood floors in the room are a huge turn off.However. I slept fantastic. The fitness room is a bare minimum so it can qualify as an amenity, as does the tiny shallow pool. They did have an adequate offering for breakfast and the staff are extremely friendly hence the five stars for service. When I declined to have my room cleaned they called back later to check if I would rather get it cleaned at a time more convenient for me.Nearby activities: Broken foosball tables, board game area.Walkability: Near costco and shopping centers

Their website says"Pets Welcome" we stayed there April 7 and 8, 2024 with our small Chihuahua who is an indoor very well behaved dog, hotel was fine with it. We returned for another stay April 28 and 29, 2024 this manager said no pets allowed. I showed him their website where it says pets welcome, apparently pets are no longer welcome. Also the hot tub was not working, it was cold, numerous guests complaining. I told manager you need to have the website corrected to state No Pets. We won't be back again.Rooms: CleanNoteworthy details: Management needs to improve.

Friendly staff. Very clean and convinient. Seems fairly new. Comfortable bed. Quiet. Everything you need here. Near a mall and lots of restaurants.

I think Hilton is cheapening itself.Tru should be for visitors with pets or rowdy Gen Z's.It was, in my opinion, a glorified Motel 6.We'll never stay at Tru again.I don't recommend Tru .

It's the little things: no carpet in the room; cleaning only every other day; no closet; no fan in the bathroom; noisy AC; my entire name wrong in the reservation...Not recommended.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! Traveling with kids, I found this hotel to be PERFECTION! The entire grounds were clean, inside & out! Pool is small but sparkling clean, fresh towels available in the gym for poolside. The patio area by pool was lit with cute string lights & cozy. Our room was small but EXTREMELY CLEAN! Don't bother taking shampoo, conditioner, body Wash. There are hanging dispensers in shower & on vanity in bathroom. We had a small fridge in room. Lobby has coffee & hot chocolate 24-7. Lobby also has foozball games, coloring supplies for kids & hanging egg chairs for relaxing. My kids LOVED the Lobby. Complimentary breakfast was HOT! Eggs, sausage, various breads with toasters, fresh made pancakes with toppins, grits, plus yogurts, fruits, milks and juices. Breakfast was a lifesaver & time saver! Even tho it's about 30 mins from hospital district they still gave me a hospital discount for Texas Childrens Hospital. We were less than 10 mins to Space Center, about 25 mins to Galveston & Kemah. Great location for restaurants nearby & tourist attractions! Will definitely recommend & be back!Safety: Great location. Felt safe. Everything is well lit. Good area.

Low budget for a Tru. The TVs are cheap and have no smart features. Housekeeping only comes by 8:00 in the morning. Otherwise your room probably won't even get serviced ours never got service the whole stay. Hotel is pretty clean. Rooms are very small. Beds are hard and springy.Overall this is an affordable hotel. Breakfast is good.

Amazing experience and location. Stayed there to spend some time in the Nasa Space Centre museum. Clean rooms, classic continental breakfast, Costco in the walking distance.

I really enjoy staying at the TrU by Hilton brand hotels... I just WISH they would put microwaves in the rooms to make it convenient for guests like myself who had to stay in place for medical reasons, and not have to leave out of your room to walk downstairs to utilize the ONE public microwave that is located in the lobby.《UPDATED 2/22/2024》The staff is ALWAYS, so KIND, UPLIFTING, and WELCOMING every time I visit.Rooms: The size/space is just right for a quick trip.
