Took my vehicle here to find out what was wrong with it the mechanic kept it for 2 days said he fixed several things and my truck was 100% safe to drive when it was 100% not safe to drive and they refused to produce me a receipt of what they was supposed to have done to my vehicle refused to drive it to see what it is actually doing and walked away take that for customer service but they are a honest home owned business? Do yourself a favor stay away from one stop auto discount brake center on front street!! But they say they leave to go pray for 2 hours a day well I tell you what pray that God makes you honest and teaches you how to work on vehicles and teaches you manners and good customer service because you have not a clue how to do any of it !!

Not informed on current laws regarding tint and windshield brows. Told me my brow was illegal before getting the inspection decided to go to valvoline to get a second opinion and they said as long as the brow is above the As1 line it is legal. Brow was above the line and they passed me with no problems. Aswell as that the guy working claimed he couldn’t inspect my car without driving it (didn’t want him to drive my car as it’s a lowered manual sports car with a aftermarket clutch). I show up to the other place and never once did they ask to drive my car. Overall it was a run down shop with a lack of employees, I sat there for several minutes before calling their number for someone to come to the front after another customer had told me they had been waiting for a while aswell.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLEI needed another inspection while I was at the DMV, the woman I was working with recommend this one because of how close it is, but I quickly learned how that was the only good thing about this poorly runned dump.I pulled in by barely clearing the steep driveway and was immediately confused where to park because of how small the place was and theres so many broke down cars, so I just parked where there was some workers standing around. Then eventually the main worker told me to move it, so I put it behind a car in the booth next to mine just to get told to move it again to the booth next to that one after waiting and eventually turning my car off?This time I got out and asked what seemed to be the only guy doing anything how long I would have to wait just to get a simple inspection, he laughed in my face and said 30-40 minutes. I told him I needed it asap because the and if he would do it the grumpy grease monkey said he didn't care and I could take a seat inside. Then as I was walking away he was still blabbering abt how he doesn't work for "them" (the DMV) and that he works for the state. As if the DMV isn't the state ?Anyway this is an awful place to do for anything other than writing a bad review for. Thanks

Went here to get my car inspected, I was in and put in less than 10 minutes! The owners are very nice and the employees are very personable too. Def would recommend!!

I think they have relocated to 301 E. Front St. in Tyler, I want to make sure the correct business is getting this review....all I can say is WOW, Juan was amazing! I was expecting the transmission to be completely shot. It ended up being a simple and inexpensive fix. He went above and beyond in diagnosing the car, and was completely ethical and honest which is such a rare virtue these days. I don't live in Tyler, my son is in school there which made this experience even so much more incredible.
