“Number one if, I could give a 100 stars I would. With that being said. God blessed me to be able to be helped by a very patient, dedicated, amazing Cooperative Teachers Credit Union employee and she went well above and beyond the call of duty.I had been double charged by a well known hotel chain using my credit and my debit (that was to be used for incidentals) but because my credit was charged over 9 times and the maximum let was meet they decided to charge my debit instead as well. Alex, you are totally amazing and definitely need to be recognized for all the hours on the phone you put in with me and how you saw what the hotel was doing and you made me know that Cooperative Teachers Credit Union has my back.Mere words could not say how much I appreciate you and I thank you so so much. Your superior should be very proud of you. I have been a member of the credit for over 10 years. “This is going to be lengthy, but if you’re having a bad day. Read this. I have been a TBT customer for nearly 5 years. I’ve always had great customer service, and just overall excellence in customer satisfaction. Today was exceptionally different. I’ve had a really bad couple of weeks, maybe a couple months, more like it… but I had lost my card, and did everything I could to find it, but to no avail I had to go ahead and report it as lost. Upon arriving today to the transaction drive up window. I came face to face with a blonde haired gentleman, with a great cut I might add (I’m a hairstylist), and upon opening my wallet I saw my card I had recently reported as lost and was so frustrated lol. I told him this and he just chuckled and said no big deal, gave him the “lost” card and my drivers license so I could get a new card. He asked if I wanted the same design, and I said that was fine. A few minutes passed and I got my card and license back. He gave a kind smile, and told me to have a great day. Little did he know. I guess the original design wasn’t available, but upon driving away and stopping for a minute to open my new card and place it into my wallet I saw my new card. He gave me this beautiful new card with a blue butterfly on it. Honestly for me, it was a reminder to me to just take a breath, and to remember the detail that God placed into a beautiful butterfly, how much more does my creator love and care for me? It might seem silly, but it wasn’t that he was kind, or excellent in his job to get me taken care of in a timely manner, but the fact that he took the time to choose an equally; if not more beautiful design for me to have. Thank you sir, and thank you Texas Bank and Trust for always going above and beyond.”

Also, a really nice physical location here in Tyler. Competitive on rates and costs from what we've seen. “First off,I never take time to write reviews, and often do not trust many reviews I read since we all have different experiences and opinions which make it difficult to see the world through another’s eyes…Having said that, I have had wonderful experiences every single time I visit the bank. I am very polite, articulate, and keep my accounts in good standing, BUT I am tattooed from my neck to my feet which can be off-putting to many people in the area. I don’t mind because everyone has the right to feel however they want, yet it is disheartening to be disrespected and unfairly judged. This has absolutely NEVER happened at TX National. I travel for work and have used all but one branch for both deposits and withdrawals inside the lobby rather than drive thru. It’s obvious that some employees are initially thrown off by my artwork, but once we speak they are 100% helpful, polite, and respectful. I have even been told point blank, “wow, you really do have your head on straight!” I find it hilarious and am proud to help people broaden their horizon about pre-judging myself or anyone else. Then again, most people don’t double major & double minor in Geology, Music, Math, and Visual Arts yet choose carpentry and manual labor for a living. It’s more fun.It saddens me to read the hardworking gentleman’s review who felt like he was treated poorly and looked down upon. I personally understand how that feels and it’s completely unacceptable. When that happens, try to remember that some people have bad attitudes or awful days, and sometimes we pay the price for another humans mistake.I wrote this essay of a review because while I can relate to “Stan tha man,” I can unequivocally state that TX National Bank is the best bank I have used, ever. If you like personal service and people who actually do their job well, then I highly recommend them. If you prefer to not interact much and deal with exorbitant fees and long lines, then I recommend W Fargo or B of A.Hope this helps,-Max”

“Austin used to be my first choice for my banking needs. They changed the hours to am unreasonable schedule. I worked 7-3 m-f and the bank was not open after 3 ever. I had to close out my safety deposit box because I could never get on to access my own items. They were open on Saturday but that also changed. I have Chase bank and have been very happy with them. They seem to work more hours that a daytime worker could visit and do on person business such as a safety deposit box, among other things. I still pay my bills thru Austin bank, but the change in hours ended my day to day checking with Austin.”

“Had a difficult start with a situation bc of my own doing. And it didn’t help after I read quite a few very harsh and negative reviews. I must say that I do agree with them up to my second encounter. After some praying and praying some more, I decided to walk back in and speak with a different office personnel. Not to cause conflict or strife, but I knew what financial assistance I was needing and I wasn’t getting it. I told her what I was looking for and convinced her that I meant what I was needing. Minnie really helped me tremendously and I mean this to the highest degree. She turned a very sour and negative feeling that I had for this institution into a big positive. She is open and very knowledgeable in her field. I am grateful for her taking her time with me and helping me at this time. Thumbs up. Go Minnie!!!”
