Angel's Pet Hospital was where I was taking my dog for his annual exams, and vaccines, and also I boarded him at their Pet hotel when I traveled. For years, the doctor/doctors there never found out my dog had a tumor in his abdomen and was very sick. The day we found out about it, it was already too late, he had internal bleeding due to zero platelets. There was blood coming out of his mouth and nose. I wrapped him in a towel and drove to Angel's Pet H. only to be told that they were starting surgery and no one could see my dog. I had to drive to a different clinic, but luckily the second place took care of him as soon as I arrived. Two mistakes: never diagnosed my dog, and did not care about his situation when he was dying.
Now, I have another dog, and he is super scared of having his nails trimmed. So I decided to call and ask for a quote from Angel's Pet for sedation if needed as if I was giving a second chance to this clinic. The person who answered the phone sounded in a bad mood and hung up on me after not responding to my explanation of what I needed. What kind of clinic is that?

Well it started out with a very poor experience and a negative review about customer service and business operations in general. The clinic manager called to discuss things that had happened during my visit. I Was offered a partial refund for tests that I didn’t need and specifically informed them that I didn’t want but declined to accept the refund because it wasn’t about the money. She was very apologetic and understanding so I deleted the comment and chalked it up to an off day for the clinic. A month later I decided I would give them another opportunity but was informed that Dr Angel didn’t want to keep us as a client. That’s her right to do, so here we are with this review. I wouldn’t recommend this vet when there are plenty others around who want the business.

They’re so kind and gentle with our baby. I trust them completely. And you can really tell that when I bring him back he’s not shaking and scared like when we go to the groomer… love them!

Took my dog to Angels Pet Hospital in Spring Texas for an exam and they referred me to a hospital for her to be tested for surgery on a lump on her leg. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer on multiple organs and the test, ulta sounds and 4 biopsias made her really sick. Called Angels which we have been taking her and my other pet to for to for many years because she will not eat anymore and keeps getting sick from the cancer. She was seen by the hospital in the last few weeks when she was diagnosed. Currently is not on any medication so it doesn’t gave anything to do with conflicting meds (it is a money thing). Also not requesting anything that is not common. Instead of communicating with their referral hospital they are insisting we bring her in for more examinations just to get her nausea meds and an appetite stimulant. This will cause her more pain having more examinations and cause her anxiety that is not necessary. She only has a month or two to live and they could care less about her comfort. Please save your pets the pain and anxiety and take them to someone who can communicate with their referral partners and do not want to cause a terminally ill baby any additional unnecessary pain.

Took my dog there 4 times over a year due to an ear infection. Never healed, got worst, her skin was bad too. Went to another vet that took her into surgery right away to fix her ear and told us she had a yeast infection in her belly and skin. These people at Angels pet hospital should have been smarter. Unbelievable that after a year they have been of no help. Feels like a predatory business just to keep charging for labs and visits. Shame on these people, i believe they are incompetent or just a plain bad vets with below average problem solving skills.

We have been customers at Angels Pet Hospital for 10 years and have always been happy with there grooming, teeth cleaning, and vaccination services. Yesterday, I dropped our middle dog Molly off for a routine grooming and teeth cleaning appointment. I was informed of some vaccinations that were due in a short while. I told them that I would have my wife call to confirm the approval on those vaccinations and she did. I also signed all the release forms like I always do and one of them was a consent to extract a tooth if they thought it was necessary. I thought that was more than ok as we trusted them with our dogs for a decade. Julie received a text from Angels at 3:13pm (see photo of the text below) and she called them at 3:29 pm as she was on a work conference call when the text came in. We have no record of them calling us or attempting to call us as they indicated in the text message. She was told when she called that they extracted 25 teeth from Molly's mouth. On average, dogs have around 42 total teeth. So, in 16 minutes time from the text they sent they extracted 25 teeth and we were told, "Well, you signed the consent form". I went to pick Molly up at 5:10 pm and was handed a $794 bill. I ask to speak to the Vet and was told it would be a long wait; which it was. at 6 pm an associate (not sure if she was a Vet or not) came to try and collect the $794. I explained my concern and was to told " you signed the consent form so you owe the money". I refused and finally the Vet came out to the counter. She introduced herself as Dr Angel and I responded with thank you for coming out to talk to me Ms. Angel and was immediately corrected "I am Dr. Angel, not Ms. Angel. I continued to explain my frustration with the removal of 25 teeth. I told her that I completely understand that I signed the consent form, but was under the assumption that would be one, two, maybe three teeth if necessary. If she has this severe dental disease, don't you think you would pump the brakes and have a conversation with the family or owners before gutting more than half of her teeth and was told to pay up or she was calling the constable(which she did). Another associate indicated they had video proof that they called Julie, which I asked to see and they refused to show(Because there was none). The constables did show up (5 total) and talked with them then me and even asked what amount I would be willing to pay. All I was really hoping for was some compassion and empathy for our Molly and the situation. I pridefully paid the entire amount. Then I was given post op care instructions with pain meds for the wrong dog. They brought the correct post op instructions for Molly but with no pain meds. I asked about the pain meds and they said "you declined pain meds on your consent form this morning". I responded, that was before you extracted 25 teeth from her mouth. She asked if I wanted pain meds and that would be an additional $11. The constables and myself left Angels Pet Hospital bewildered by what had just transpired. I was told by the constable that everything had been recorded and would be in the report if I wanted it. In the end, I paid them the $805 which may be a short term victory for them, however that will be the last dollar from us and maybe a few that read this will also not spend their money at this rigid heartless establishment. Receiving services for free will never be in our wheelhouse, however expecting our family (pets included) to be treated with respect is most definitely an expectation that is non-negotiable.
