You are humble and professional enough to understand to listen to the pet owner, even if there's a differing viewpoint, or with someone who may have some new information you are not aware of. Most physicians and also veterinarians can be extremely prideful and don't ever want to admit they don't know something. The best doctors, scientists, teachers, dentists, parents etc., are the ones that can admit they don't know, but that they will do the necessary work and research to find out. I really appreciated your respecting the natural and medicinal herb areas I'm familiar with, and willingness to work with me, not force me to just comply with what you knew or thought best.
