“Since my local Ross has clearly gone way downhill with almost no inventory it's off to TJ Maxx I go. Every item is usually 3 or 4 dollars more than Ross but the selection is way better so I guess it wins for now. Now if you didn't have to wait so long in line but hey that was the issue with Ross as well.”

“Just giving a shout out to Elmelda in Ester Lauder for all she does. She is the go to for your cosmetic needs. She has been there for 16 years and is so knowledgeable in her products. Dillards should be so proud to have her. She’s one of the reasons I shop there.”

“A good, slimmed down version of the grocery store area of any Walmart SuperCenter. Whereas in the SuperCenter you'd find, for example, 3 different chocolate cake mixes, at a Neighborhood Market, you'd instead find only 2 different chocolate cake mixes. That example applies across the board on things like yogurt, nuts, chips, and many other things. Is that bad? Not at all! Prices are the same as at the Walmart SuperCenters. The biggest difference? Fewer people to deal with and - usually - faster to get out of. This particular Neighborhood Walmart is quite well set up and organized. They do seem to be in perpetual restocking mode, but that's tolerable. I would recommend this Neighborhood Walmart to anybody.”

“They gave great sales here but need more checkouts at times it can get tedious trying to get checked out. They also need to run the A/C more int he Summer and less heat in the Winter because it is always hot inside the store which makes you not want to shop very long.”

“I love Target. I always get my toothbrush protector from them. I practically save four dollars getting it here than one of the local drug stores. The toothbrushes are cheaper here also. This is my go to store. Ten stars.”

“I love Burlington, I'm kinda guilty of shopping late, however working till 11pm is pretty late...not enough staff to keep it in shape. Perhaps you should let them close way earlier and let that involve 1hour to catch up with putting store in order..”

“This place is better than the other Target stores we've been. But, they need more cashiers! And, we have seen theft and when we notify employees they just don't care. One of them last time said "I don't get paid enough for that" when we told him there was a customer walking out with a cart filled with kitchen appliances without paying for them.”

“Decent selection and prices. The size of the store and parking discourage quick trips especially for older or busier people. Not top quality, more oriented towards disposable products, but convenient nevertheless”

“I really enjoy shopping at this Walmart because of the kind and caring employees. I wanted to wait on this review but it has been long enough and this places deserves a good review. I come here often and I have never encountered an employee who was disrespectful or rude. I'm not saying they don't exist and maybe I just have yet to encounter one. I mean yes this is a Walmart but for this neighborhood Walmart I have to give them an A for cleanliness. From having organized shelves and stocked up pretty much on everything I like to snack on, I love this place for the convenience. It's really a one stop shop for me and I can typically get stuff quick in and out. It is not yet too crowded but you can encounter the occasional rude shopper and that happens from time to time. I just go about my business and get on with my list because who needs drama at a Walmart? Whoever picked these employees should definitely be promoted because they are all great people. I have been coming here for over a year and ditched my go to Kroger and Aldi for this place. During the pandemic they have made it their jobs to take care of us and for that I wish the best for the employees who work the pickup section. They go above and beyond to ensure social distancing, small talk, and most importantly that you were satisfied with your order and all substituted items. I didn't think I would ever say this but Good Job team!!!”

“Lorinda is the best pharmacist at this pharmacy. She don't have my medication for 3 months so she went out of her way and search nearest Walmart pharmacy from my home to arrange my 3 months medicines. I really appreciate her kindness. Great job.”

“Mostly good customer service. The number of nice helpful store reps outnumber the initial grumpy one I came across. Just went there to return something from an online order, so while waiting for a nicer clerk to come to the register I looked around the store a bit. Things looked well organized and there were some nice pieces, but the online offerings seem a little nicer than what I saw in the store. This is definitely a place to go if you're into brand-name items and labels, but since I'm not and looking more for timeless styles and good bargains, this isn't quite the place for me to shop. The prices are discounted quite a bit, but still too pricey for my pocketbook and what they had didn't really look all that impressive to me. I did pick up one item that was super nice and a good deal for a quality, well-made item. When I went to pay and then on the way out I encountered a couple very friendly, helpful workers that made up for the initial grumpy, rude woman that was first at the register.”

“Lots of cute clothes for teenagers/ young adults. Lots of great brands. Lots of nice toys for Christmas. A great store, with a lot of variety. The area is safe, and there are lots of stores in the shopping center. I don’t usually like to go to Ross, but I like this Ross.”

“This Walmart must be doing something different. Maybe it's location based but the manners of most employees are nearly impeccable. Sometimes this is not the case but 90% of the time I receive better than just acceptable customer care. I am able to find attendants who answer any questions pertaining to location of products or the like. Company mobile application improvements: Now that Walmart has an application these questions are more rare regarding aisle location unless I am without my mobile. However, this Walmart price matched their online price without question and quickly when there were discrepancies! They were sweet and I only waited maybe 4 minutes for the self-scan attendant to be free, check, and change the price according to the listed online price. **Please note, this item must be sold by Walmart to be price matched for all my dear deal-loving, coupon-clicking followers :) If I must choose a Walmart, this one is one of the best. So why 4 stars instead of 5? Well...I think most of America agrees 4 stars is impressive for any Walmart as it stands, even with their recent renovations and minor "improvements" recently implemented in many stores. This is simply due to the complete lack of conviction any employee can hardly be expected to hold given the pay vs. responsibility given at Walmart. There is a clear lack of care between authorities and store owners that seems to whisper that sweet song of the 1% community. As long as the store is performing in a certain monetary margin they are well-off. Then there is another gap between management and floor associates which completes the equation that often results in complete and utter dread on most employees mind when the word "work" is said. Will they ever be a 5? Only God knows. They certainly seem to have enough resources to provide significant resolutions for common complaints but as history has shown, as long as one store performs within marginal expectation, I doubt Walmart cares to go above and beyond in the customer care field as a whole until there is a direct competitor nation wide with a physical store location reign as large as that of King Walmart, Conqueror of the Mom and Pop Shop Era. Now that Target significantly lowered prices to the point of competition with Walmart we have seen renovations come to light. The once garage and mothball essence has come to pass. Walmart has upgraded to a newly tiled and automated scenery that carries an air of a once-rich-now-bankrupt car collector who sold his garage to a supermart interested in dominating more than the vegetable market. In the end, my review of this Walmart should stand out. Why? Other Walmart stores employees will quite literally break eye contact or deliberately look away, even changing directions sometimes to avoid another customer question. I understand off the clock employees may do this but at least 3 stores near where I grew up have this issue. I still can not blame them, there seems to be a ratio of approximately 150 customers per employee implemented. Every time I travel nation wide I am greeted with the look of a crushed soul rather than a friendly smile. There are exactly two Walmart locations I have visited in two decades that have employees that don't look like they're being blackmailed and held against their will when approached with a question that would take about 20 seconds to answer. Walmart as a whole has unfortunately set it's customer expectation low enough to foresee a future where Target or a similar brand can one day overthrow King Walmart and reign as Target (or Similar) The Kingdom of Customer Care. Customers have been rooting since the moment they gave up hope for a widespread "Mom and Pop Shop" marketplace, for anything except Walmart because no matter how convenient a store may be, human kind will always long for personalized and unique service, often only offered by the best and highest priced markets that truly make a market brand feel like a friend more than a business.”
