Terrible service. Never expect the medications to be ready the same day the doctor sends it. Even for most common ones such as protonix or pain meds after discharge from the hospital. It usually takes 2-3 days. Recently a few messages were sent to me asking for pick up, when we were there, we weee told the message was sent wrong. So not available again. The male counter tech is so not helpful, never even trying to help. Nothing can be done.

I like finding cool things at Costco, but... the staff is rude. I've experienced rude staff in California Costco too. New Jersey Costco is nicer. Anyways, I don't expect a cheery smile, but all I asked was where's the gum, and she said in a sassy tone, "if you can't find it, then we don't have it!" And walked way. She didn't even bother showing me where they have gum. I asked another lady, and she was more helpful, but I still didn't find the gum lol. I can understand why the staff can be in a bad mood bc it's always so crowded, but is that a good excuse to treat PAYING members like this?! Other than that, it is very convenient, and I go every other week.

Everyone should have a Costco nearby. Our Krogers is like a convenience store but our weekly shopping is at Costco. Love their bargains!

So rude. Waited at the door for almost ten minutes. Finally a manager refused to let us in when we told them we were interested in joining. Complete zoo with horrible staff. You can look inside with a member but you aren't allowed to look on your own prior to joining. How does one join without viewing what they will be paying for? Assanine. Wish I could give a zero star rating. We will stick with Sam's.

I came in here just to shop with my family per usual, received horrible customer service at the door. They saw us and immediately one of the employees grabbed my shoulder and held me back just to show my membership. This is the worst Costco i've ever been too, it's ridiculous the extents they go to for a membership card I have no problem showing proof of. Later on at the checkout they refused to let my sister use my same membership even though we're a family. The cashier Katy was extremely rude and kept denying to ring us up for another transaction. I would not be returning to any Costco ever. Don't waste your time here go to Sam's instead.

Avoid the tire center at all costs. Long lines just to talk to someone and the people that work there are rude rude and RUDE! Prices are not that much cheaper for better quality tires at discount tires. Overall, will never ever waste a minute of my time at the tire center.

9.30.23 Ben was very helpful! Thanks Ben. I stopped at the Cypress Costco (9.27.23) and saw a couch that was $999. but it was on sale for $699. It would be perfect for our apartment (above the garage) I knew I should have bought it when I saw it. We went back on 9.29.23 and they were out. The nice lady at customer service said Sugar Land location is the only ones who have any left and they will not be getting more in. Oh no! So Saturday morning, bright and early I headed to Sugar Land. They opened at 9:30 and they only had 4 left! I was able to buy one (should have bought 2-one for hubby's man cave). Ben helped me load it on a flat bed but it would not fit in my SUV. Normally they don't hold anything on the weekends but he said he would hold it while I went all the way back home and got my hubby and our trailer. Management was not pleased that Ben held it for me, but I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!! We went back and loaded it up and it looks GREAT in the apartment. Of course my hubby said after the fact...I should have got one for my man cave... The price was fantastic for this couch! Thank you so much Ben & COSTCO SUGAR LAND!!

I've been coming to Costco SugarLand for many years, since they open. Never would I thought to write a review on a wholesale grocery store, usually only on restaurants. I came in for a return & wanted to speak to someone about "cap ribeye". During mid covid time 2020 per butcher, the regional manager no longer want to sell this piece because is not profitable (something like that). I had to drive all the way to Richmond (Greenway Plaza area) to get the cap rib eye. I would buy like $200 worth of cap ribeye. Sometime mid 2022 this location also discontinued selling cap ribeye. However, my family from out of state tells me their Costco still sell it. My family and I really love cap ribeye. Therefore I spoke to the young lady named Maylyn in customer service. She wasn't to familiar about the cap ribeye. So she went to get the manager. The manager was assisting with someone else at this time. In the meantime she noticed I had a business membership card. She ask if I shop here a lot. I told her "yes" , almost every 2-3 weeks because I have 3 little kids. She told me about the "executive membership" and all the perks that comes with it. Also about opening a Citicard Costco credit card. She was NOT like a sales rep trying to be pushy to sell something (hate that the most). She explained the benefits. To my own surprise, I actually listen. She convinced me to switch to the executive membership. I'm thinking to myself. All these years I missed out on the cash back. I also end up receiving a big Costco cooler bag. This will come in handy. Ashley (manager) came over to assist me. I explained to her about the cap ribeye. She went and looked it up in the system. She said the cap ribeye is not available at the moment but is NOT discontinued. It will be back but she doesn't know when. So there is hope. I was so happy to hear that. Now it's just the waiting part. Hopefully the cap ribeye will come back soon. I really need the cap ribeye. The older lady (dark short wavy hair) that process my return was also nice. Overall my experience today was great. Customer service was on point starting from the returning item, customer service with Maylyn, speaking to Ashley the manger, & self check out (even sales person help me scan and get out quickly).

This has truly become the worst Costco that I have ever been to so my premonition has become true from when they first opened! Every single thing about this Costco is terrible. The parking is terrible, the checkout is terrible where they have a narrow spot with just 2 registers open coming from each end while 4 people are helping with self checkout which makes no sense given that they could put 2 of those people and open new registers. The worst thing about this place however is their tire center which is a special sort of hell. What they lack in organization, structure, and common sense, they make up with arrogance and facial hair (ok that last part is a cheap shot, but seriously guys, try to look a little professional). They really try to project a know-it-all attitude, even when selling batteries. I saw the guy with a beard not named Chris argue with another customer who wanted to get the battery to match the one he had but Not-Chris kept going on and on about how he needed to know the exact variation of the car he had and wouldn't take the customer's word. Other places just ask "oh you want this battery? Let me get it for you, sir." But dealing with tires...this place is the worst. I mean sure, they sell tires... As long as you have an appointment or you have previously ordered a tire and waited for God knows how many days. Or maybe you can catch them on a slow day. If you have an unplanned flat tire however, you are completely out of luck because they will tell you that it will take them 35 minutes to fix it and therefore they won't do it and it's faster to just put your spare back on there and send you on your way without a spare. Then maybe you can make an appointment for the afternoon 3 days later or if you don't have to go to work during the day, show up early and hope they'll take you as a walk-in. Of course, if you protest then they will frame the whole thing as you being an entitled person trying to jump in front of other people who have followed the rules and waited. They seem to forget that they actually sell a warranty when you first buy the tire and would point out that there is no time frame in the warranty. There has to be a better way and pad the schedule to allow for expedited service for those who have flats. God forbid someone is on a road trip. The other vehicles I am responsible for have tires from Discount Tire and I have never waited more than 45 minutes for a flat repair. So buyer beware: their prices may be attractive here but service is not a priority. It's definitely not on par with Discount Tire or NTB The other Costcos aren't that much better but I have never been turned away for a flat repair in any of those locations, even if they've been busy because they realize that once you take your car to them with a hazard, the right thing to do is to fix it before sending you on your way without a spare tire. The worst thing that happens at the other locations is that you may have to wait a little longer. After waiting 4.5 hours, I was still sent home with just a spare and have to come back. I declined and went to the Richmond location where I was out in 1.5-2 hours. Still nothing to sing about but at least there was no drama.

Their space for the checkout lines is terribly tiny ... probably fts only 3 carts. Very disorganized.

Worst experience in a Costco ever! Wow. How are there only 6 cashiers with hundreds of people in line & then to close at 6pm daily?!?!? I will NEVER go here again.

I've been a member of this Costco since its opening, but I have cancelled my membership for several reasons. The greeter is not friendly and refuses to let you in without digging your card out of your purse. The store is always packed with people, and most just leave their cart in the middle of the row and go look at something and you are stuck behind them. Coming here takes forever! The store layout is terrible, not enough room for carts, the checkout experience since the pandemic started and when they opened "self checkout" is horrendous. I don't know who thought of having 4-5 people assisiting the self checkout lanes and then have one line open for someone to actually check people out in a line. Why do they have 10+ lines with only one or two open?? The checkout experience is so chaotic...it is the main reason we are cancelling our membership. Also the checker at the line is always in such a hurry...I waited 15 minutes in line, don't scan my items like you are in a race and then insist that I enter my card all demanding. Rude. Also if you are used to going in here to find your usual stuff, expect it to be moved to a new location week to week. You literally have to go up and down every people saturated row to find something on your list that was on one row last week, and is now located across the store this time. It makes no sense. We are done with this place.
