“We stayed at the Shamrock Country Inn over Memorial Day weekend. We had a 2-bed room and took advantage of the breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about this cute and comfortable inn! I highly recommend this as a great stop right off of Route 66. The owner was so nice, welcoming, friendly and gave us great dining recommendations. The room was clean, the beds were so comfortable. I loved the Texas flag motif and the stars painted on the doors (which the owner did himself!) Breakfast was excellent and had so many options to choose from. We would stay here again. Absolutely loved this motel!Nearby activities: Lots of Route 66 interesting tidbits, and the Blarney Stone!Walkability: This motel is right off of Route 66 and about half a block down from Grifs steak house and the U Drop Inn cafe & gift shop. Great parking right outside your room.”

“Great hotel. Friendly staff and very comfortable beds. Been traveling route 66 for a week and a half and this is the first bed I woke up without back pain. Breakfast is included and it was AMAZING. They have an eggs to order station - REAL EGGS. Judy made ours and it was soooo good. Thank you girl!! You can make waffles in the shape of Texas. Silly, I know. But it makes for great memories and conversations. They have so much for breakfast too. Not a fancy hotel but it was great and the prices. I didn't have to spend alot either. Pet friendly. We saw dogs but didnt hear or smell them. Noise from outside - nada. Felt safe too. Will be back.”
