First interaction with this company;
My mother in laws car got impounded on an arrest, we called Randy's and they said to call the impound lot (Sanger Vehicle Storage), so we did. Getting the price to get the car out completely blew our minds, so upon asking why it was roughly over $800, the lady the call was transferred to instantly had a VERY unpleasant and snarky tone, all in all saying well maybe don't drink and drive and get arrested. First of all, false accusations of reason of arrest, we spoke to the police who made the arrest and they don't disclose that information so her statement was herearsay. Between MIL and myself trying to get information just as to why the fee was so expensive, I understand flat state rates, MIL worked for local towing company & tried to compare rates to get a clear understanding. but when it came to breaking down what goes into the fees i.e mileage, wenching, etc I never got a straight answer and she refused to disclose just the breakdown of WHAT GOES INTO THE FEE. Saying the lender had the receipt (after lender picked up vehicle) and they could tell me what it was and she wasn't going to. Even though the question about the rates was asked even before the lender picked up the car. Came down to her saying she wasn't taking anymore abuse, when all that had to be done was explain the fees. If you don't want your customers getting an attitude, maybe try not approaching the initial phone call with such attitude. considering 90% of the time if someone's calling about an impounded vehicle, they're already not very happy. After not getting answers from Sanger Vehicle Storage, called back to Randy's to try and get a breakdown from them. Man on the phone also refused to disclose just the fees, not even asking for the exact numbers, continuously interrupted me while I was trying to speak, saying im not even the owner of the vehicle. Which no, but my fiance and I are the ones paying for it so just a simple breakdown to understand where my money was going would've been appreciated. Asked for his name, he refused to disclose that. But instead I was belittled by an employee who expects to just charge said amount with no insight or understanding of what goes into the fees. Be prepared if Randy's Towing is who picks up your vehicle to just go ahead and grab the lube and have a TDLR complaint form on hand.

Red heads in charge of this place are racist as can and wanna charge a arm and a leg for just a supposedly diagnosed estimate when I know exactly what's wrong with my car so I walked next door to try Marvin's literally right next door way better custom service just a little wait with Marvin but garentee you will be way happier with customer service and your wallet will thank you

Traveling north on 35E, this morning, going to work, I heard a horrible noise coming from my car, traveling at 75 mph. Exited safely to the service road, and called Randy's Towing. Very polite and courteous was the voice on the phone, with deep concern, she asked if I was involved in an accident, told her no, just had a flat and needed a tow. She offered for a driver, Trey, an outstanding and VERY courteous person came to tow me to their auto repair lot. When we got there, Trey put my spare on and I was on my way. Had he not been able to change my tire, Crystal offered to give me a ride to work. Complete satisfaction and pure joy at their customer service! HUGE thank you for all your help this morning. Would definitely call them again and I would recommend them to anyone!Service: Car towing
