Used to come here a ton 6-7 years ago, it was great! Went back today and had a totally different experience. Went in for a fill and left with my skin around my nails painted in shellac and the undersides of my nails super thick and uneven. I pointed it out to my manicurist and he said “well, that’s what you get for choosing a color so close to your skin tone” he then got up, walked to the register, and ushered me to leave. He also charged me extra on my full for a “shaping” even though I kept the exact same shape I had before. Short almond ain’t that complicated…

I absolutely love Valencia Nails Spa! I’ve been going here for many years and they always provide excellent service for their clients. Clean, sterile environment. There’s truly never a dull moment here. Special shout out to Lynn, Angie, Hannah, and Daisy. See you in 3 weeks!
Requested style: I showed Hannah a picture on Pinterest and she worked her magic to create this beautiful set.
Specialties: I especially love their piña coladas.
Cleanliness: New tools are always used on each client. Bathrooms are very nice and clean. Chairs and equipment function well and feel clean.

Extremely disappointing service today. Went in for 2 mani pedis to celebrate my grandmothers birthday. We were never offered anything to drink and they were very impatient with me helping my grandma into the pedicure chair. I chose a pastel orange color from the wall of nail polishes and I guess it was an old bottle so it never fully dried on my nails. She would apply the top coat and it would immediately smudge the orange polish so she had to remove it and start over. After a few tries my tech got frustrated and started asking what I did to mess it up. Literally hadn’t moved at all so I don’t get why she was trying to blame me. She asked if I wanted to do another color and I said yes. She goes to pick a color and it’s a neon red. Nothing close to the color I had picked out even though there were plenty of other orange polishes that were somewhat similar. But by then we were so over it it wasn’t even worth. She never even asked if the color was okay with me. Left with nail polish all over my hands and many spots on my nails just missing of polish. It’s the same lady who was blowing her nose in her face mask and playing card games on her phone while giving a pedicure in another review. Absolutely awful business behavior and she needs to be FIRED. Very disappointing as I used to be a regular customer but no longer will be coming back.

This place is terrible. Has messed up my wife’s nails multiple times. No reason to pay 100+ for a rushed bad job. Also they don’t give refunds apparently. There are plenty of other nail salons to go to.
EDIT REPLY TO OWNER: I actually did call and was told refunds are not possible. Why would I send my wife back there for Valencia nails to mess them up again. I gave your store chances to make it up but you decided what your store is going to do. People beware of this nail salon.

Returning to the United States has been a challenge…the customer service is HORRIBLE! I have been overseas in Kuwait and I was looking for a salon that did gel nails. I called Valencia Nails and asked if gel nails was a service that was provided and was told yes and booked an appointment with Judy. After Judy had removed the polish from four of my fingers I noticed the acrylic base. I asked her about the gel base and she all of a sudden didn’t speak any English. She spoke in her native language to the lady next to her. I told her whatever she could do was fine. I had three broken nails and needed my nails fixed. Judy packed up her things and had the manager sit in front of me with his attitude and tell me “I was having a bad day and I needed to leave because they couldn’t provide the service I was requesting. She would have to remove my gel base and put acrylic.” I asked how long that would take because I had another appointment. He was very rude in telling me that it would take about two hours but she had other appointments. He continued to tell me I was having a bad day when I was NOT! He tried to make me seem hostile and I was NOT. I left and went to another salon. I will have to shop around until I find one with people who care and speak and understand English.

Completely abusive. I was charged twice for a pedicure without having honestly and transparently mentioned the cost of the service, when I asked before starting the process. The work took for ever and there was not even quality in the cleaning and painting. I have no problem with paying a good price for something, but if I do it, it is for something that is of quality. This is not the place.

Tony did my nails this nude to black ombré is so on point!!! On top of the amazing pedi I got with hot stones and more I recommend this place 10 stars book with Tony for your nails and you’ll be so happy and get that honey and milk pedi!! Only 55 for the pedi I’ll be back here every time!! Already planning a mother daughter day here after my experience today!! Thank you to this place and its wonderful staff!! I walked in with a friend and was sitting down in less than 5 minutes though as a service industry employee I recommend appointments! Which is what I’ll be doing in the future!! Again 10 stars!!

Cleanliness: Sparkling clean every time!!
Stylist: Tina is my go-to nail stylist!! Tina is amazing and positively exceeds my expectations every single time!! I cannot recommend her enough!! To be fair, every stylist I have met here is absolutely wonderful!! Tina just takes the cake every time!

DO NOT COME HERE!! This is my 2nd time coming here and my nail has popped off yet again. The didn’t try to fix my nail or anything. It popped off 5 days after getting it done. I’m so mad i spent $75 for this.
EDIT: i live right across the street from this nail salon, in Maddox hills. This is the RIGHT salon! This appointment was in fact booked in my name. Y’all work is horrible and I’ll never go back.

Things went okay during my pedicure and manicure however when I got home I noticed that my calluses on my feet were not done correctly and my cuticles on my fingernails were not trimmed at all. Not good when they talked me into extra services and I had to pay $133 for subpar service.

I have been coming to see Ruby for the milk & honey pedicures for over a year and she NEVER disappoints! My nails always look great afterwards but the best part is her fantastic foot & leg massage!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
