Too bad the windows are so dirty! We paid extra for the river view, the venetian blinds cannot be raised, the windows cannot be opened and the windows are so dirty you can't see anything through... The air conditioning is noisy. I am disappointed

This is a wonderful boutique hotel located a block from the Riverwalk as well as a block from historical downtown San Antonio. The rooms are clean and spacious with all the amenities and more. The hotel bar and restaurant are above standards for a hotel establishment. There are specialty drinks at the bar, and a robust restaurant menu. Both areas have access to well covered outdoor seating. The lobby has ample space for meeting up with others and coffee service in the mornings. Highly recommend.
Rooms: The rooms were spacious, clean with comfortable beds. The were well stocked with amenities.
Nearby activities: This is a perfect location to visit the Riverwalk, but also close to historical downtown San Antonio and The Alamo.
Noteworthy details: The Riverwalk is a must see, but leave time for The Alamo and other fun adventures in San Antonio. When there isn't too much construction, the traffic throughout the city is very manageable.

The valet team goes above and beyond. Great team at check-in, literally amazing! Beautiful hotel with Riverwalk views and access. So many unique areas in the hotel, we especially enjoyed the courtyard. Great location.
Rooms: Beautiful, spacious room with a balcony that has Riverwalk views. The bathroom is especially nice.
Nearby activities: Close to all the fun attractions around The Alamo.
Safety: Feel very safe here. The guest floors are only accessible with a room card.
Walkability: We have walked to Hopscotch, The Alamo, The Sisters Grimm Ghost Tour and Oddities Parlor, The River Center, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Louis Tussauds Wax Works and multiple restaurants all in under 10 minutes.

If your planning on visiting San Antonio Hotel Valencia is a must , perfect location right in the river walk , so close to everything you do not need a vehicle.
Luxurious beds , immaculately clean friendly helpful staff , great food I honestly cannot say a negative thing about!
Will definitely recommend to anyone.

If you are planning a trip to San Antonio and want to stay on the Riverwalk, book a room at Hotel Valencia!!
From the moment you step into this beautiful hotel you will feel like you have escaped from reality. The relaxing setting will calm your mind and body. The hotel is just steps away from the river for easy strolling along its banks.
I usually don’t sleep well in hotels, but slept deep and well in a very comfy bed.
The staff will take exceptional care of your every need. Shout out to Manager Bobby; thank you for your thoughtfulness during our honeymoon weekend!!
Forget eating at a restaurant on the Riverwalk and indulge in the fabulous Dorrego’s Restaurant. Oh my goodness!!! And you MUST have a margarita!! Wow!!! Oh and when you arrive for check-in there are complimentary margaritas at the desk. :)
So do your friends and family a favor and book them into the Hotel Valencia when they come to town!

My wife and I enjoyed a great stay at the Hotel Valencia San Antonio Riverwalk. This is our home away from home and the staff is our family. We would like to send out thanks to Nicole Phillips as a great friend and ambassador for the hotel, Mourad who is like a brother, Dawin who greets us with a smile and great assistance, Rosa from housekeeping who exceeded expectations, and Annabelle the food and beverage manager who made us feel super special. We also want to thank Sarah and Kristen at the front desk as they took very good care of us. We love the Valencia and will definitely be back :0) --Chris and Annette

I have stayed here before and enjoyed the Hotel. This time we had a slight inconvenience in regards to our booking but the staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. The effort and attention was appreciated. Will definitely stay here again in the future as it is one of our favorite hotels in the Riverwalk area.
