5619 TX-1604 Loop Suite 122, San Antonio“Visiting from the Reston, VA location — which is my new home studio.Came here twice, both on the week of Christmas. Last visited: Dec’ 23.My first coach was Andre, who was chill and laid back. He was friendly and down to earth, and had a really cool and relatable way of explaining the template and especially the floor exercises. Probably one of the easiest to understand and friendliest coaches I’ve had at Orangetheory Fitness.My second coach was Tiffany. This was on the next day, and a little later in the morning. Actually, it was the same day as the Everest signature challenge. I was not prepared for that or even know about it going in, but I did my best. Got a spot on the leaderboard after all.The first work out was a hardcore endurance run, which helped build up my endurance and helped especially the next day with Everest challenge (even though I didn’t know about it, lol). It was a little more manageable thanks to the endurance training the day before, I believe.Also, forgot to mention but they have the newer treadmills at this location in Alamo Ranch. You know, the shiny new ones that go up to 15 MPH. They have those. I certainly remember, because I went all-out at an intensity somewhere between 12 MPH and 15 MPH, on at least one occasion.Anyway, I thought coach and front desk were both amicable and friendly in general. Had good experience overall.Also, they were handing out free Builders Plant Protein bars, so I snagged a couple of them for post-workout muscle recovery. Even if those things are overall not good for weight loss, especially as they have a ton of fat and added sugar. I wish they would give out healthier protein bars, like RXBar or similar, which has all-natural ingredients.Anyways, I enjoyed it here at the studio in Alamo Ranch at the San Antonio, TX location.Convenient times and location, in my case. I would recommend this studio, as overall my experience was positive.Hopefully will be back sometime in the future.”

“Good and Expensive. Clear results.Overall recieved what seemed like good coaching and met nice people. I feel confident in squat, press, and bench press but not deadlift.Gym appeared very clean.Great jump-start to get into or back into lifting.No hidden fees, though you cannot start monthly membership ($405) until after a mandatory 1 on 1 coaching session ($185) and 1 week/3 sessions of optional training (free), which is not stated on the website untill you click all the way through to sign up for a membership.No sales desk but you will get phone calls, voice-mail, slack messages, and texts from more than one person.?It's worth it if you value accountability, coaching, the idea that spending that kind of money will make you want to make the most out of it, and if you can conform to their schedule. Otherwise, if you don't value those - it's simple programming you can get from the starting strength book, app or youtube and you can get all equipment necessary for the cost of the intro and 1 month membership.10/10 would recommend and have recommended, would do again, hopefully with a discount.”

The program is amazing, and the instructors are great to work with. The workouts are difficult, but a tailored to your level. On the health side, I have had massage and adjustments which have been very beneficial as well as a lot of instruction on how to change some ways that I do things to account for injuries.I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to build their strength, health, and fitness level.”

“Small, black-owned community gyms are where it’s AT! I use my bluecross blueshield insurance’s “well on target” program for my membership and it’s MORE THAN WORTH IT! I go to Zumba classes 2-3x a week, Yasuko, Livia and Koko are amazing zumba instructors! Judge-free environment, folks of all ages and fitness levels come to classes. No gym bro culture, never seen anyone filming themselves for social media- really a one-of-a-kind gym!! You won’t regret it if you join ❤️”

“The work out was excellent and the group is warm and welcoming. I worked out with the 0600 class and there was a broad range of athletic ability, so you didn’t feel out of place. I worked out with Coach Cho. It has been a while since I had a CrossFit workout and I knew I would have to scale. Coach not only provided me options before the workout but was crazy attentive during the work out, and helped me adjust mid workout. Even while making sure I was good to go coach was on top of everyone else in the class as well. Coaxh made for a supportive but challenging environment. Great first workout with this team.”
