“This place is AMAZING as far as convenience stores go. It’s immaculately clean inside - even the bathroooms, the staff are happy and pleasant and it’s clear they enjoy working there. Fuel is competitively priced and it’s SHELL so you know you’re getting a good product. There are dual car wash bays, air pumps and vacuums, the parking lot is clean and litter free and they have a large selection of foods and goods to add to your day. I stop here as often as possible. One of the greatest things about this convenience store is that it’s Texan owned and operated by people, not huge corporations. The owners have worked hard to deliver a good experience to keep the customers coming back and they take pride in their business. When you stop in here you’re supporting a Texan owned small business!”

It was 4pm on a Tuesday and traffic wasn't as bad since it's away from culebra and the high school. The store was clean and not crowded it had every item I was looking for like a mini Walmart I was in and out in less than 40 min.”

“We got some gas which was about the average price in the local area. We used the restroom which was clean and probably needed minor attention. We got some fountain soft drinks and the checkout was quick and easy. The only real issue was that the gas pump did not give a receipt. We needed the receipt as this was a company vehicle. The whole purpose of paying at pump is to not needing to go inside. We went inside anyway but this is not always the case.”

“I had some time off on a Friday morning and needed a oil change and car inspection due.. I’d been to 3 other places before driving by Take 5 and they weren’t busy. Adrian was quick to start the oil change and though his inspection guy was going to be a bit behind I didn’t mind cause I was kept informed and since I needed it all done at that time I didn’t mind waiting. The inspection was done shortly after the oil change and now am all set for the year and will continue to come to Take 5 for my oil change needs..Services: Air & cabin filter replacement”

“This is by far the friendliest family owned convenience store in the area. The owners get to know their customers~~they care enough to ask after your family. When I had fractured a bone in the top of my foot, they asked how I was healing and occasionally when the weather is just slightly off and I have just a slight limp, one or the other will remember and ask if my foot is hurting. When I get to the register one or both will ask if I need my Red Bull or Doritos, in case I forget. To me that is exactly what is missing in our society today.....the neighborhood store that is truly a part of the community. They are your neighbors and they not only take care of the little things you need every day, but they also give you a warm smile and give your day a lift knowing that there are folks out there that still really care about you.”
“My favorite go to for fill ups on gas or Polar Pops. The crew are always friendly and fast. I really enjoy $5 pizza Friday. I pick up my pizza uncooked and take it home to add lots of toppings and cheese, then 15 minutes at 400 degrees for an extra crispy crust. Feeds the four of us with a green salad. Give it a try.”
