One star is too much. Lack of consistency in the information given, lack of consistency on procedures compared to other branches. You told my employees that you can’t cash their check, forget the fact of charging a fee, COULDNT CASH IT because they don’t have an account, nice way to force growth of your business. Remember chase all you are doing is holding my money to use to lend out and make money. 2 accounts closed today and a few others will follow

I came to this place to try to open an account at 8:15 am.
They have welcomed me and invited me to sit where a banker is free and can serve me……………… the bank is empty, I waited 30 minutes and since everyone is on their phones and no one is assisting me, I decide to stand up and go ask and the answer is that a banker has an appointment at 9:00 and do I want to return at 1:pm for the next available one???!!!
That is to say, if I don't get up and go ask, I would have stayed there until 1:pm??
In conclusion, I have decided to leave thanking them, but not before telling them that they have terrible service and that our time is also worth it, because they owe it to us customers to be able to continue existing as “banks”.
00000% recommended.
I will look for another institution.

I went into this bank to use the ATM machine after last week discussing the use I was going to cash advance with the teller with an American Express. She said there was a limit. I called American Express to verify that Chase Bank was an ATM machine I could use.they said that that was true. So I went today to use the machine and it denied three times each time going lower on the amount figuring it was an excess. When I went to the first person available since there was absolutely no one in the lobby Customer wise he told me he couldn’t help. I explained to him what the issue was and knew that the card was good and he said I can’t help you. the receipt said Chase bank all over it. I was in the Chase bank lobby. Chase bank is my bank and this guy didn’t even get out of his chair to say let me see if I can at least try to help you. Let’s start at the beginning. He did absolutely zero. I will be closing all credit cards and my three accounts with this bank.

Was not able to cash a check from this bank without an account, and not able to open an account without an appointment. Teller wouldn't even cash their own check into a cashiers check so I could deposit in my own bank without the long hold times. Worthless customer service. Wasted 3 hour trip from Corpus Christi. I totally understand why there isn't a branch office in CCTX. This bank has lost my business forever. Go ANYWHERE ELSE for your banking needs.

This bank has the worst bank officers . Ashley Rangel has a bad attitude and doesn't know how to communicate in a decent manner. She shouldn't be helping the public if she lacks basic customer service and people skills. I'm not banking here anymore

Competition down the street treated me like a number without knowing the deposit I wanted to make. Neil Parsons met me, talked to me walked me to the door and is a credit to Chase. It’s been a 34 year partnership with Chase and it’s people like Neil that keep it going.
Please send Neil down the street to the competition to explain. It’s the small things like this. When I was down the street, the guy barely looked at me and kept typing.

Had the worse experience today with Ashley Rangel! Do not book an appointment with her... you will be falsely accused of things and be treated like garbage! She makes snarky remarks and is sarcastic and then fixes her attitude when her manager is around. She made defamatory statements about myself and my mother

Today I went to Chase for a new business account appointment with Maria Villarreal, "Business Relations Manager ''. The appointment was for 1pm, I got there at 1245pm. Supposedly, Villarreal was told by 2 other employee's I was in their waiting area waiting for our appointment. By 130pm having waited there for over 30 minutes I left. I hired a babysitter, made arrangements to have my daughter picked up from school, and put my business on hold so I could make this appointment. I ended up having inconvenienced others and having my time, money & gas wasted. Villarreal is currently handling Ms. Stephanie Lewis' accounts and new account due to Ms. Lewis being on medical leave. Suggestions: 1. Ms. Lewis and Mgmt Staff. Consider removing Villarreal from her substitute position for Ms. Lewis. Maybe even some remedial Customer Service Training. 2. Villarreal consider having your appointment calendar open to remind you of your appointments. 3. When someone tells you twice as was relayed to me by other Chase Branch employee's, your 1pm appointment is here, come out to the waiting area, make your appointment or at least make contact with them, let them know why you can or can't proceed and or are delayed with the appointment. 4. In general, get up from behind your computer chair, walk the waiting area, and see if your appointment is there (well, that's if you bothered to check your calendar) or ask those waiting, "who are you waiting for" And NO, it's not my or anyone else's responsibility to walk around with a sign ala a Chauffeur waiting on a passanger at the airport to prompt you to remember your appointments. I'm writing this complaint on FB and Yelp cause no one picks up their phone at the branch, 210.829.6152 or their 1-800 #, 800.935.9935. Isabel

Consumer beware. There’s a reason they try to entice you to bank with them with money. They will make banking so difficult that whatever funds they gave you to open an account will be taken back and much more. Don’t do it. Stay away.
