I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Fremgen and her staff. She saved my little dog's life when she had pyometra and others were afraid to operate on her because of a low platelet count. You can ask almost anyone and they will tell you that pyometra will result in death if the uterus is not removed. I appreciated that she assessed the situation by blood testing, x-ray and looking carefully at the dog and then giving me her plan of action. While not pushy she was assertive and I really felt confident that what she planned was going to be the best treatment for my little girl. In fact she did remove the uterus without any issues, and kept her two nights just to be sure everything was as it should be. The staff is friendly and pleasant with the fur parents and the fur babies. This is a great animal hospital and I definitely would recommend the Knickerbocker Animal Hospital and Dr. Fremgen.

I would go here if my animal's life depended on it. The last time we took my daughter sister job there.She walked in and couldn't walk when she got out. Is her back end was paralyzed for several days.

I reached out to Dr. Frembgen for a second opinion on a possible epilepsy diagnosis on our 4 month old kitten. I was so nervous to leave Gilly for a whole day knowing how fragile she is... but I knew she was in good hands. When I went back that afternoon to pick her up, Dr. Frembgen took the time to bring her book in, along with all test results and walked me through all the causes of feline seizures and how she ruled most of them out. While we weren't able to identify the cause of them, I'm confident that she did everything she could to get us down to 1-2 options. Gilly is on seizure medication for life and we're just praying that neurological symptoms don't start to show and that ALL we're dealing with is epilepsy. Thank you, Dr. Frembgen for once again being the amazing vet that you are!

Karen and her staff has taken care of my dog barley for 10 years and my previous dog Danny 5 years. My dogs have had excellent care from Karen and her staff my present dog says thanks guys

Awesome customer service! We just moved here and I needed to have my cat and dog seen. As a new patient, it was very easy to set up appointments and the staff were great. They saw my cat today. Found out he's got arthritis. The Dr was very informative about his treatment and went over prices with me so I can plan for future visits. My daughter was with me and she told the Dr she wants to be a vet. The Dr spoke with her about it and even showed her what my cat's ear mites looked like under the microscope. I'm glad I found this office and look forward to future service.

Kind and understanding staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable and professionel.We went to get a health certificate for our dog to travel out of the country, and they helped us out in any Way, as well as make sure he is up to date on vaccinations and are healthy.
