I’ve done business with RT in the past and the service was good, but now on the second time around, response is slow to nonexistent . We’ve called multiple times, left messages and haven’t gotten a reply in awhile. Meantime, the vehicle is at their shop and we are stuck in a rental with no ETA on completion of service. It’s my hope to have a follow up post with a positive outcome.*Update*This is a follow up from above review. Earlier, I was frustrated with RT for not communicating with me more effectively. I am pleased to say that things are much better. Mr. Sanders was cooperative with pick up and payment options, due to a personal situation, and I want to thank him for being compassionate, professional, and understanding. Great place!!! There was a clunking noise coming from the car, so I decided to take it to Rowlett Transmission. They troubleshot the car and fixed the transmission with a great turn around time, and now my car is working great. Highly recommend this place.Service: Transmission

I took my son’s car to Rowlett Transmission after I lost confidence in another shop. We didn’t get good news and ultimately decided to trade the car because it wasn’t worth repairing. If I had decided to do repairs, though, I would have had confidence in this shop. They were honest with us, didn’t charge us to look at the car, and gave us options for repairs (short term and long term) depending on our goals. If I need transmission work in the future, I will go back.

I have never been treated so badly. My transmission repair did not make it 9 months before doing the same thing it was doing before. I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. Stay away from this place.
