“A delivery was not completely right, needing only one additional but critical 2x10 if I was going to be able to continue my DIY project at my home. I called the store expecting that I was embarking on a long drawn out process that would ultimately end up in nothing but frustration. The person who answered the phone said that I needed to speak with the general manager of the whole store and that he would transfer me. I was expecting to get his voicemail, or worse, to be 'accidentally' disconnected.Instead, he picked up almost immediately. After explaining the situation, he asked when I needed it by and promised to get it to me. I was still skeptical, expecting to have to repeatedly call after no additional delivery.Instead, an assistant manager delivered the extra 2x10 one hour EARLY.Throughout the whole process I was treated like the most important customer of the day. Refreshing. There is a Lowes right across the freeway, a little bit closer to my house. It's Home Depot for me from now on.Way to go Home Depot. Mom and Pop service from a big-box store. Hard to pull off.Lee Holcombe.”

“Picked up a few items and when checking out had a nice chat with the cashier. I did comment how quickly it added up. She agreed. I did a double check on the receipt. There was an item on there that I didn't get. The item wasn't on the counter or anywhere close by. Neither of us could figure out how the item scan got onto my receipt. Taking things in stride we laughed about it and my card was credited. All in all a delightful but odd experience. Good place, good people.”

“This Lowe's is not close to my house but it's on the way to my girlfriend's house in Pfluger Rock. Very often that makes it more convenient for me.You can't expect as much service at these big box stores as you can at a plumbing or electrical specialty shop. I'm not sure it's where I'd shop for remodeling work either, simply because accountability is low. And honestly customer service since the pandemic is terrible everywhere. But for the I'm going to do it myself amateur, most of the time you just need parts to work with. Whether that's heat shrink tubing or a sprinkler head or a new fluorescent ballast, they've got that stuff. And they sell it from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 7 days a week. And they're almost never that busy so parking is a hassle or there are long lines to check out.If you came here to be treated like royalty you came to the wrong place. Period. Get over it. But if you came for something you need in a hurry to make something else work, you came to the right place.”

“I don't write as many reviews as I should but these guys deserve a big shout out! I hired Forest Creek Millworks to build cabinets for a Man Cave I had built. I wanted deep cabinets so I could store bins out of sight. I also needed them tall and I needed a space for my flat screen. Steve from Forest Creek came over (on time I may add) and I told him what I was thinking and my unique requirements. His years of experience paid off. As he asked me more questions he came up with the perfect solution to suite my needs He was even able to match the wood finish to the existing wood blinds. On install day, Steve and his crew were on time and cleaned along the way. When they left, I had a smile from ear to ear. I feel with Steve's experience, I got more than I initally had envisioned. I would have no problem having them do work for us again or reccomending them to a friend. Kudos Forest Creek Millworks!”
