My dog had an emergency and needed surgery or it could have been fatal. They give me a paper estimate saying it was $800 I I busted my ass to get this $800 like I stood at an intersection with a sign I put a GoFundMe I sold a bunch of my stuff to get this money. I got up to 600 and ask them if they would go ahead and get her in and save her and I would have the rest of the money by the time I got her home. Because it was such an emergency. And they would not do it I had to have the full 800 before they would do anything. So I got the $800 by the grace of God and people that helped. And it turns out that the surgery wasn't even quoted right. Also when I picked her up after the surgery they had trimmed her nails while she was there and one was completely mutilated they didn't even try to doctor it up or fix it or even tell me. And they wanted more money to see her about that they could be more caring however I am grateful that doctor saved her life

Dr. Erickson and Christina have been nothing but wonderful for our dog! He has had 2 emergency surgeries in the past year. The whole staff at QAC is caring, attentive and supportive. I couldn’t ask for a better vet experience. I know my babies are in good hands.

Last Friday, we came home from work to find our youngest kitten barely moving. When would him up, I couldn't tell what was wrong, but he felt different, like he was holding himself different. My husband and I called 5 different vets before we found this one able to take us in. We got there right at 5, and they immediately took him to the back to check on him while we checked in. They ran a bunch of tests and kept us up to date on what was going on and what the results were, and they were upfront about costs before every test so they could stay within our budget. Everyone who saw our Bean was so kind and acted like they genuinely cared about him (nobody at the vet we normally take our pets to is like this; they always act indifferent towards the people and animals that come in). It was so refreshing to be at a vet that seemed like they loved their job and loved the animals that came in, and honestly a bit of a culture shock to be kept in the loop about what tests were being ran, how much things were going to cost, that with his 105° fever, they weren't sure if he was going to make it and told us we could bring him in the next day if he didn't improve overnight. They also cut the bill for us when we asked if we could do split payment, because while we had the money to pay for it, it would have been much easier on us financially to split it. These people did so much for us and there are not words to express how grateful I am to them for staying late to do everything they could to save our Bean. And they did save him, and I will be forever grateful to them, although even if he hadn't gotten better, I would feel this way. They went above and beyond, and I can't imagine going anywhere else in the future. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Also, special shout-out to Meagan Young, the vet tech who worked with us, and Dr. Smith. The kindness and love they showed Bean... I fail to express properly. Meagan was the one who kept us up to date on everything and answered all of our questions (and even laughed a little when she couldn't hear his heartbeat over how loud he was purring for her).

Dr Gohlke along with her vet techs, Ashley and Max, saved my Tuffys life. He had to have emergency intestine and stomach surgery. Dr Gohlke got right to him as well as staff. He stayed 6 days and nights under all of their care. They took extraordinary care of him and he lived because of these great people. Dr Gohlke called every morning, and 2 times in evenings to report on him. She even came in on her day off to care for him. She consulted also with the other vets when he wasn't responding as hoped. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Gohlke and the entire staff at Quitman Animal Hospital.

I had the most unbelievable experience here. My dog was very sick and I was so lost about what to do. Dr. Crabtree and Megan came to the rescue! I was terrified I was going to loose my dog Rocco and they went so above and beyond to comfort me and take care of him. I have him back to new and without breaking my bank account. I will always be forever grateful for them saving his life.

Thank you to the amazing staff and dr smith for taking care of my Daisy baby. She had to get emergency surgery because she suddenly stopped eating. We spent 3 days trying to figure out what was wrong and on day 3, we found it the problem. She is my best friend and has been my companion throughout my pregnancy. The staff and doctors are truly amazing and I’m so thankful we moved to the area. The staff also worked with me on pricing! They are also super affordable! Enjoy this sweet picture of my baby sleeping.

The whole staff was so helpful and got me right in when I told them I had to euthanize my senior Great Dane. Dr. Smith and his Asst. were so comforting and kind through the whole process. I have been looking for a new Veterinarian as I have worked in the Veterinary Clinic Industry. The compassion, kindness and willingness to answer all of my questions was top notch.

When my cat unexpectedly broke a tooth I was pretty nervous as my experience at another local vet was not fantastic. I called QAC as a new client needing an immediate appointment that worked around my hectic work schedule and they were amazing and flexible with me. They allowed me to drop off before work, went over the quote and services recommended in detail, gave me 0 pushback when I explained I needed to stay inside a budget and still managed to get me out for less than the quoted price.
I mentioned in passing that my cat had not previously reacted well to antesthesia during his neuter as mostly a warning but the vet who took care of me, Dr. Crabtree went above and beyond with a safe antesthesia protocol when he heard of my concerns. My cat recovered much faster than his previous surgery. He also went over the xrays with me in detail and seemed genuinely interested in what was happening with my boy.
Thank you QAC for making an already stressful situation much more bearable.

This clinic is really good at treating domestic animals and livestock. New to cattle we were really learning when one of our cows didn't calf well and the calf was stuck. We called the clinic, they checked us in over the phone ( we had been one other time with one of our dogs who had a hurt foot) - we were seen after a short wait and they removed the calf, gave antibiotics, and something to dry her milk up. The vet was super patient with us and explained everything clearly. We've taken our two dogs there, too, for annual checkups and vaccinations and when they have a mishap out here. The staff is patient, the place is usually busy. They do not have an appointment system unless the animal is getting surgery, it's first come first serve. Highly recommend!!

We recently had to put down our elderly dog because it was time. My wife called our vet’s office (Lake Country Animal Clinic) and their receptionist named Melody was very rude to her. Melody told my wife to take our little Maggie somewhere else. We took her advice and took Maggie to Quitman Animal Clinic. The staff were so kind and caring. They made a difficult situation so much easier for us. We will be taking all of our animals to Quitman Animal Clinic from now on.
