On June 27th, while shopping for a piece of furniture at the Pflugerville store, I encountered a lady who was extremely kind, helpful and personable. However, my experience at this store quickly turned for the worse when I was looking at the lamps and came across a vase that was sitting on the shelf with these lamps. I picked up the vase to look at how beautiful it was and put it back where I initially found it. (with the lamps) To my surprise, a black woman with gray dreadlocks who was unpacking merchandise called out to me and this was how the interaction went:
Rude Employee: is that a lamp you picked up?
Me: excuse me?
Rude employee: was that a lamp you just picked up?
Me: (looking over to the vase I had just set down) I stated, no that is a vase.
Rude employee: well, it doesn't go there. I need all the space I can get for my lamps, and I would appreciate it if you would put things back where you found them.
Me: .......(bites tongue)
After this interaction, the rude employee was still hanging out in the space I was in, as I was walking off with my cart, I asked her what her name was, she gave me her name and I told the employee she had a very big mouth, and she ought to work on her personable & professional skills and never talk to customers in the manner she talked to me.
While I am not surprised at this type of behavior, as I frequent various Ross stores in Williamson County and there are plenty of these types of employees whose attitude is disgusting, dismissive and extremely unprofessional. What does surprise me is that these individuals are getting hired and paid by a company to do a job and continue to carry out their duties in a non-professional manner. I am confident the employees with these hateful attitudes towards certain individuals hate their job and definitely should not be working with people in general.

Worst Ross I have ever been to! Dirty, stuff all over the floor, alarms going off. Nothing was in the right place.

Ross has a little of everything, but you better buy it when you see it, or it will be gone when you come back. This Ross store is always busy, and the checkout process is long since they typically only have 1 or 2 cashiers. Ugh!

LONGEST LINE EVER: Only come here if you have 45 minutes to stand in line. The line is always so so long. I just left and I timed standing in line and it was exactly 45 minutes.
There were only two people on registers. One of them was going very, very slow and chatting. The manager and another person (possibly a stock manager?) just slowly walked around the store and didn't look busy... So very obviously not worried about how long customers have been standing in line.
This was probably the fifth time I've gone to this Ross, and I've never seen the line short. At this point, I'd rather just go to Target a few stores down to find what I was looking for & use their self-checkout to save myself an hour.

They will have other employees all over the store instead of trying to help add more cashiers to get the customers out the line will wind all in the isles making it harder for others to shop and get by I had waited in line almost an hour

This place is a disaster! I walked in to about 30 people in line waiting to check out. I made a comment while walking in to someone on the phone about the long line. Manager heard me and told me to come back another day. Really? I was not even talking to you. How about helping my hoping on a register! This store has been going downhill for some time now. That’s too bad.

Bad attitude from an employee, she didn't let me take a cart even though someone took my cart while I was shopping inside the store along with some products that I already had inside. She said it was already closed and I wanted to explain the situation to her and she wouldn't let me, she just told me it's already closed. I had to walk around the store looking for my cart, carrying heavy things, until I saw it in the checkout area. Surely an employee took it thinking it belonged to no one, but it wasn't to ask if it belonged to anyone. I ended up hurting my hands from carrying things. I only give it 3 stars because the cashier was very nice to me, she spoke Spanish, unfortunately I don't know her name
