Attached a photo of my appointment confirmation and will be elaborating on my 2 star rating since the owner claims I didn't go there. She was really very friendly and accommodating but after my appointment I had extreme heat damage to my hair that I've never experienced in my LIFE. The entire middle section of my hair strands? STRAIGHT. Mind you I have 4C hair so it looks so inconsistent now. My hair is resilient and I only got a blowout from her but her technique was inadequate which resulted in the damage. She started blowdrying without sectioning or detangling because she underestimated my texture (she admitted this). She went over each section way too many times and often only focused on the ends instead of the roots which were still damp and unstretched while the ends were over-worked. She also used a homemade product that she makes which had a strange smell afterwards and I don't believe it was heat protectant. My ends are in terrible condition all around my head and I've been trying to heal my hair for months. Because of all this I won't return and wouldn't recommend this salon to family and friends or anyone who cares about the integrity of their hair. I also wish I spoke up, but those who are soft-spoken will understand–it's not that I was in pain but I couldn't see what she was doing at all.

I am from Atlanta and was driving into Austin TX and very badly needed to get my hair done (took braids out). Being away from home away from my personal stylist has been rough. I googled salons and saw the other reviews. I am glad I chose this salon. Pam's energy was all that. She took me right away as a walk-in. She was energetic. Razur cut my sides and back down to perfection (go see him- he does it all) . I am glad I went. I got exactly what I wanted . If I am ever in Austin again and need a salon, this will be it. Takes Apple Pay, Zelle .

It’s been years since I last let someone touch my hair due to me being very particular on who I let touch it. Pam, however not only restored my hair but educated me in the process AND I ended up getting my feet done too! Absolutely love this one stop shop service and will be call Restoration hair salon my new hair home

First of all, customer service was ?% on point. This was my first visit and I enjoyed it. She was kind, calm, patient, friendly, professional, and very good at her job. My retwists didn't hurt too. And she gives amazing scalp massages, omg!!!!!

My first microlocs retie and Ashley did the best work! She was friendly, gentle and continuously checked in with me to make sure it wasn’t too tight. While she worked on my hair she advised me on best products to use and how to properly take care of my locs.Service was A1 and would definitely recommend everyone to get their locs done here whether you’re starting the journey or just maintaining it!

This was my first time visiting this salon and it was a great experience. Pam is very knowledgeable and is more than happy to answer any questions you may have. She takes the time to assess each client’s hair and comes up with a game plan to help clients achieve their hair goals. The salon itself is clean and tastefully decorated. The staff are nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a salon that caters to black/natural hair.

I would give 10 stars if I could. From the moment I called and Jeff picked up the phone everything was great! Jeff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Pam was over the top amazing! I was a walk in and she squeezed me in last minute and I am so grateful. My hair has NEVER looked as good as it did when I left Restoration Hair Salon. Pam, Jeff and the rest of the staff were so friendly and personable. Getting my hair done has always felt like a chore for me but now it will be something I look forward to since I will be a returning customer at Restoration. Pam took her time to make sure my hair was bone straight which is what i asked for. She even noticed I struggle with dry skin on my neck and it is now clearing up thanks to Pam’s amazing cream that she makes herself. I felt so comfortable and at home while getting my hair done. Invested 3 1/2 hours into my hair doing more than they know. Stayed past closing and their hospitality was much appreciated. Come in and they make you feel at home. Recommend 10/10 for all your hair disasters & styling!
