Google took me to the strip center where the salon was located, but I was confused because I didn't see a sign. It's located inside the beauty college.Anallely did a good job trimming my hair. The cost was reasonable and everyone I met was pretty friendly.

Went in not long ago for neon red hair hair lights, which I stressed repeatedly…I got dark red instead. Like, darker than the fading neon I went in with for a refresh to. I was told “wait a few weeks for it to lighten up” but it never did, of course, because even if it does lighten a bit from washing out, it’s still not neon.Staff were friendly but it’s not at all what I asked for, which is disappointing because I got recommended to go there.EDIT: now the owner is claiming they didn’t even provide the service, but I have the receipts and email appointment reminders to prove it. I called July 5th but was told the owner was busy, but that shows the professionalism level right there, the accusations. I would take a careful look at how the salon reacts to negative reviews before you come here, because if anything goes wrong, they’re not going to take responsibility and instead blame YOU. I'm not after a refund, nor am I trying to ruin the reputation. This is an honest review. Nothing against anyone but the needlessly hostile owner who clearly can't take any kind of criticism. I'm washing my hand of this and staying away from now on.In the name of fairness I even added a star because the person who did the dye, even if it was too dark, was friendly. Thank you Anallely.

They did my daughter’s hair for a special occasion and they did an amazing job at an amazing price. They took time for a trial before the event and on the day of the event even though I missed my scheduled appointment they were kind and accommodating and did everything will lot of patience. My daughter loved how they did her nails too. Friendly staff and pleasant service.Services: Manicure

I have been coming to Daymis for a few years now. Raquel is a blessing, she is an expert at what she does. I have often seen her have to fix Women's hair color after they have gone to another salon. She always gets my color right without damaging my hair.She has never tried to up sell me on the styling products they use, and I appreciate that. She realized on one of my visits that I was shedding more hair than usual and recommended a vitamin supplement that I could get at any grocery store (it made a world of difference.)Their Barber Rafael is awesome too.He does both of my sons hair. One has curly hair and the others is strait. It has been a challenge finding someone that is experienced with both types/textures of their hair. Rafael takes his time to make sure they both look fantastic when they leave. My sons use to hate to go get their hair cut, now they look forward to it.This review is long over due. It is so easy for people to take to writing reviews when we have an unpleasant experience but not always so easy to remember to write when they have a great experience with a business.Thank you Raquel and Rafael for the wonderful service you provide my family :)Service: Hairstyling

My first review use to have 5 stars because at the time the haircuts were great. But now they gave me a haircut completely different to what I asked for. I even showed a picture to what hairstyle I wanted, but he didn't even try to follow it. I had to stop the barber multiple times because he was cutting too high up and way too short. But regardless he just kept trying to blend the hair even though I clearly said at the beginning the hairstyle is an undercut. Overall the quality of the hairstyles dropped ever since most of the stylists left this place. I don't recommend this place anymore unless you want your hair cut off in a style you didn't want in the first place.I also attached a picture of the style I wanted and the cut I left with

Worst perm I've ever had in my life. I asked for a Spiral perm, this is not a spiral perm. There's no curl at all it's just kinked my own hair was curlier than this so called perm . I was quoted 65.00 $ when I booked the appointment, I was charged 130.00 $ for this awful hairstyle. Also the fantastic cut I walked in there with, after they were done trimming the ends , it looks horrendous!! I will never go back there again and I won't even bother to go back to have the damage done to my hair fixed!! They claim they couldn't leave the chemicals in long enough to get a better curl. Midway thru the hair cut and the blow dry the owner finally realized that the stylist didn't even rinse out all of the chemicals, so I had to go back to the sink to re rinse my hair!!!! I was told not to wash my hair for 48 hours. I got home tonight and immediately started rinsing it. Rinsed it twice and I will be shampooing it tomorrow morning and I really hope to god it washes this disaster out of my hair so I can try to save my hair. I am so unhappy with the hack job done to me that I want to cry!!! Save your self the trauma, embarrassment, and tears don't go to this salon.....

I recommend Daymi’s Hair Salon. The atmosphere in the Salon is enjoyable, it is clean and the stylists are really nice. Eno was my stylist and I have to say, she is the best stylist I have ever had. She is very professional and is patient with the client. She wilI asked you what is it that you want, or, if you bring a picture of what you want, she will do exactly, or much better. She will do beyond of what you want, and you will be very happy when you walk out the salon. I definitely recommend her and of course, Daymi’s Hair Salon.Service: Balayage

I went to Ulta and my hair was royally screwed over. Several weeks after, I came to see Raquel and she fixed my hair for me. You couldn’t even tell that it was ever a mess and I am forever grateful. Highly recommend this salon for a great cut and color job.Services: Haircut

Worst experience I have ever had in a salon. I have been to few salons before but needed a new one since moving to Austin. They state that they are “professional” but needed assistance for every step. There was technically only “one” professional, but even she was scrambling to fix my hair to make sure it was even in the front, only after I told her it was not even. They did color just fine but it is definitely more of a place to get a cut and highlights. I dyed my hair only in the front (which they charged full color price for) and I left with a lot of color stains on me. Here’s a tip for the “professional” salon, use alcohol to get rid of stains. One of the stylists was also very Islamophobic. It made me very uncomfortable being there as she talked down on the religion, it made my skin crawl and I wanted to get away. They will accommodate for Islamic women but will openly make fun of you when you leave. The young lady at the front was very kind spirit with everyone, and her mom was nice as well. I don’t recommend coming here, go at your own risk.
