Friendly and helpful staff. Wide range of services available. Accommodations for boarding and daycare are top-notch, as are grooming services. Love that I can check on my Bichons with the daycare/boarding cameras

We use this place exclusively for overnight boarding. They have a friendly staff who care about the dogs. My dog always seems happy here, or at least he hasn’t voiced any complaints to me. Always comes back with the same number of limbs as when I dropped him off.He also seems excited when we walk in, so it must be a good experience for him, though I think he’s pretty easy to please as dogs go. In contrast there certainly isn’t any tail wagging when I’m dragging him to the vet, so he’s not just blindly happy anywhere we go.The bath service is a nice option prior to pickup. I don’t know what happens with the other dogs there, that’s his business, so long as he’s smelling fresh when he comes home.

Love that my dogs can play at daycare instead of being in their crates at home while I’m gone to work. Love watching them on the cameras also.

The way they treat animals is horrible I worked there and they don't get blankets or any warm situations. they stay in the kennel of most of the day. And have no interest in with humans.bdo not put your animals in this horrible location. From a former worker give your animals better keep them at home.

The rating I gave is based on the Camp’s interview process. Yes, it is lengthy. I wanted to show the full scope of the interview process for my dog and I. I really wanted to take my dog here, however I was not thrilled by the interview process. I was looking for place to board my dog, and was hoping this would be it. Luckily, I found somewhere else for boarding when I’m out of town, but it would be nice to have a daycare nearby. As far as the interview process went. It was less than stellar. My dog has high anxiety and hates the vet, so she associated the facility with a vets office. I’m my opinion. I don’t think the front office deals with working dog breeds, because when I toured the facility it looked like they catered to mostly “typical” dog breeds. Furthermore, in my opinion I don’t think the staff knows how to actually work with dogs. They just expect the dog to mosey into the facility, and get along with everyone. The front office woman had my highly stressed dog confined in a small doctor’s office entry way, and proceeded to offer her treats using a baby voice. My dog’s body language told her she didn’t want the treat, and she proceeded to get lower by squatting on her level and closer physically with the treat. At which point my working dog went into protection mode and attempted to protect herself and her family. Yes, my dog did bear her teeth, raise her hair, and lunge forward two feet. However, she recalled instantly as soon as I yelled at her in German, and did not even touch the office woman. However, she did get pretty close. By the way, it was their idea for me to unleash her in a confined space with a new person. Not the best idea. Now, my dog has never bitten anyone however she does not like baby voices, and she does not like the vet. For her to recall instantly to my voice and not tear that young woman’s face off was a big deal, because she’s never been put in that situation and it could have been worse. She won’t even take a treat from me when she’s excited or stressed. Usually this happens at the vets office or anywhere new. She’s a good dog, and never gets into trouble. She is very playful and loves to play with people and other dogs, however because she has a type A+ personality she is very choosy on who she likes. She was also bitten by other dogs as a puppy, so she can be a little hesitant of new dogs. It was sad to hear the staff at Camp Bow Wow label my dog Aggressive, because she’s quite the opposite. This assessment hurt my wife and I deeply as we were trying to board our dog while we were out of town on short notice. We took my dog somewhere else to be boarded, and the owner took her time with the interview process. The interview took place outside as opposed to a confined space inside. You can tell this person, and their staff have experience with all types of dogs, and temperaments. My dog even let the owner and the staff walk her. At this point she even lets them give her belly rubs. This has become our main boarding facility when we need one.

This is the only place I’m willing to board my dog. I appreciate the friendly staff, cameras, suites, and the ability to participate in daycare while boarded.

We are new to Camp Bow Wow Pearland. And so far, I am so impressed and love everything about Camp Bow wow. I have taken Sky to other places for grooming, and this is the first time she looks so fresh and so clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Day care is great and looking forward to having a boarding stay.

Not a place for Pomeranians. Vet has instructed us to never use a collar/leash combo since Pomeranians are very prone to collapsing trachea. Did tour, uploaded vet records, set up interview. Show up and are told by the owner that the franchise says they have to use a collar for the leash due to safety. Safety for whom? Not my dog! No harness allowed even for a short period. No accommodation suggested. That’s a very outdated practice! I’m surprised they didn’t know about collapsing trachea and don’t have a policy in place to deal with it. I should have been told early on that harnesses weren’t allowed for small dogs, so many people use them, it isn’t a surprise that people would want to use them. I even included that in the “special needs” section when requesting the interview. Clearly they didn’t read them. If that’s the case, I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking a dog with any special needs at all to stay there. A lot of time wasted.Update regarding CBW reply: I should have said “Not a GOOD place for Pomeranians” and I should have added Yorkies, Toy Poodles, and Chihuahuas as they are all at high risk. Doing things the way you’ve always done them is not a good reason to keep doing it that way. When you know better, do better. It’s an easy google search. Now you know better and should contact corporate to get a policy change started. Regardless of all else, the issue remains that if I ask for no collar/leash combo in my appointment request, that should be discussed BEFORE I get there. If you can’t accommodate it, then say so up front. I understand you are bound to your franchise agreement, that’s not the primary issue. I respect your right to do business the way you see fit. My purpose in the review is to warn others who might not have been told by their vet this is a known issue for the breed and I hope you’ll reconsider and lobby the franchise to change your policy given the likely damage you will do to the 30+ pets you have in your care. I have already found alternative arrangements for my pets so it’s no longer about me, but all of the future dogs and their owners. If this review saves even 1 dog and their family from the nightmare of collapsing trachea, it’s time well spent.

I had an amazing experience at Camp Bow Wow at Pearland Boarding Facility! From the moment I dropped off my dog Zola, I was impressed by the caring staff and cleanness of their facility. I received regular updates and photos during my pet's stay, which made me so happy. Knowing that my pet was in safe hands allowed me to enjoy my time away. I will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you for providing top-notch care for my beloved Zola!

I was looking for a place to take my dog just in case I ever needed it, and this was close to home. After calling and receiving directions to download the app I did. I followed instructions and on the app it said that I would be contacted soon for their interview. I wasn't contacted within a few days and when I checked on the app again, it said I needed to schedule an interview???Not impressed so far.
