Really would have loved to hear back from these guys for the little girl pup i had absolutely fallen for like they had said.....but here it is about 2 weeks later and still no word even though i was the first to visit and was promised id get a phone call back if the few people ahead of me backed out....?? very saddening

Wonderful people! I fostered then adopted from the HSNBA recently and it was a great experience. Everyone is very helpful and supportive.

I always get rescue animals, they shouldn’t have to live their life in the shelter. I have had a total of 3 dogs throughout my life. They have been a joy. I initially picked out 3 dogs from the shelter to take outside to their dog park are and get to know their personalities. I decide to pick the 3rd dog although if I could help more I would have. I think you are only allowed one dog at the visit anyway. The price includes chipping , entering their information on the chip ( if you don’t have your info if someone finds your dog / cat they won’t know who he/she belong to. They give rabies vaccinations. Not sure how much it cost to fix her ( some vets charged up to $900), and a found a place that was affordable. When I get another dog I will definitely go back and pick a mature dog who can live his life out with me.

New Braunfels, TX 78132Tucked away in New Braunfels this caring animal shelter has many that need love and homes. I was in to drop off food when vet changed our pets dog food. A man came in to leave his pet . Cutest little white dog was so scared. I felt so sad. Good companion. Sweet and seemed loving. Please help these pets so they can have treats and toys and blankets or even something to snuggle up to at night til they find love. If everyone would just send a check for just $1.00 made out to Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area

Great staff, friendly, lots of volunteers to help out, too. The building needs to be expanded as New Braunfels is growing so much. Visitors are encouraged, even if you aren't looking to adopt a pet!

The best. Seamless and easy to find the perfect little guy for me, and I could not be more happy with my decision to adopt. The staff was very helpful and eager to help out and point me in the right direction. Willie and I go everywhere together and he’s already my best friend.

Got a mess that we could see the puppies we were interested in adopting. Today at noon. We get there after driving an hour to find out they were all adopted yesterday!! Soooo why waste our time? Will never go back!
