“I'm definitely a fan of the brisket burritos, and the boudin balls are a household favorite. I've tried the quesadillas, burgers, and grilled chicken salad for lunch, and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend it, and will be back soon.”

“I'm not sure what the problem is with the other reviewer. I was overwhelmed with joy when I found that place. They don't do a good job with signage, so I just thought it was a big restaurant with no grocery store. Northside has la michoacana, and they have a lot of good things. But I feel like there's more connection between the store owners the store workers and the customers. The meat is cheaper then la michoacana. The field is that of a typical store in Mexico. It's one of the great things about living in my neighborhood. Go there and look around.”

“I've been snowed in all last week here in Nacogdoches and was sent a western union from a distant relative...Nowhere in all of Nacogdoches had there's available from Krogers to Brookshire Bro's, Nowhere!Dollar General had there's up and going first and, because I'd never used Western union before the manager actually stepped outside and help me make the receivers process possible. Friends and Helpful!!!( And in a time of local high stress/weather disaster.)Hands down I give them 5 stars☆☆☆☆☆”

“Small & only sells food & a few essentials but clean & well stocked. They only have self check registers but an employee was kind enough to check out my elderly friend & was very nice to us”

“4 stars! Great service. Friendly staff, especially the lady that was working the register last Thursday night. Lost star due to to a stray cart almost rolling into my car. No problems, otherwise!”

“Definitely the best grocery store in town. Fresh produce, more choice for organics, speedy check-out, and a staff that is friendly and responsive. It's refreshing to go into a store where the employees actually know something, and have the authority to do things to deal with challenges on the spot. Deep discounts for gasoline at their gas pump, for frequent shoppers -- up to $1 per gallon off. That single thing has me choosing this store as often as possible, for everything that I need that they happen to carry. Kroger has a great app for using digital coupons, and creating an aisle-by-aisle shopping list. The shopping list isn't perfect, but it sure helps when they decide to *move* everything about every 5 years. Every store in the area does this -- I guess we just have to live with it. They try to help customers as much as possible during the transition, by posting new aisle maps for us to use. Or, you can search for the item in the Kroger app on your phone. Great store.”

“Me and my girls have only been there ONCE. But we were all so excited to see Ralph or Rafael I really don’t know how his name was spelt but he was working outside with the carts and we all like him. Even though he was workout outside alone, he still kept his mask on which we all appreciated very well. He is truly an essential worker.”

“I have never been so wowed during my Christmas shopping experience. I worked with a rep named Brian. He listened to my story about making fruitcakes for my family, and he even listened to the ideas provided by my recipe instead of my initial thought of what I needed. He escorted me to the correct aisle for some unique bakeware that was found in the crafts section. Then, he went and found 12 individual loaf pans that included wrapping and tags. This was the best Christmas Present I had given in years according to my relatives. I have rarely ever experienced such a fine example of retail service and customer care ever. I never expected it at a Wal-mart. Brian ensured my business for a long time!”
