“Lot is mostly paved, part is dirt and some potholes to watch out for.Around a third or so spots taken up by locals parking their personal vehicles. Welcome to Texas;)Never had problems with their fuel.Main draw for me is the hot deli inside.Best burgers on the road, made to order!Breakfast burritos are pretty decent.Just tried their spaghetti and it is great!Lots of other options for breakfast and lunch.”
“Well definitely have to give 5 stars! Great customer service. The cashiers are amazing. Can get anything from bait, hot food, gas, and a great expirence. There are tables to wait for your food or to dine in. Great place to work aswell. So come ckeck us out at #4 have 6 going on 7 locations.”

“I honestly wasn't expecting much, but I was impressed by the organization and cleanliness of the store as well as the friendliness of the cashiers. The photo center is located past the registers and the pharmacy is towards the very back of the store, and you'll find a wide variety of household and travel needs. They don't seem to get too terribly busy, so checkout is a breeze.”
“I haven’t felt well enough to go much of anywhere the last few years. But this afternoon. The only thing that has sound good to eat was a good hamburger . I haven’t been able to eat for about the last 3 weeks . But we went to Sammy’s and the burger was the best I have eaten in yrs and yrs . The staff were so nice !I used to go to that store when Mr Burt was there and it was Meador’s groc. There have been several owners since then. But they either had very little merchandise and/or the staff were horrible !I am SO GLAD that these owners are such sweet people!Also their live bait is half of what it is every where else . Lots and lots of fishing equipment. It’s just a really nice store .You will not be sorry that you stopped in and said hello ! Let’s show these people what a wonderful community Appleby is !Maybe if we all show them enough love . They will start to have all you can eat fish ! I know I would LOVE that !!”
