A colleague recommended Cato for adding some new pieces to my back to school (teacher) closet. First time shopping at Cato. Sybil was so helpful. I felt like I had a personal stylist helping step out of my comfort zone. She was personable and not pushy. All the staff at this location were so helpful and kind. The prices were very reasonable. I found several key items to start the new school year and came in under my set budget! The store was clean, organized, well stocked, well lit, and felt welcoming.

Cato used to have great markdowns, lately that's not the case. Overpriced & becoming increasingly slower to mark down items.

The girl who checked me out and helped me in the dressing room was extremely kind and made me feel very welcomed. She deserves five stars! Other than that, I was very disappointed. I came in looking for a dress last minute for my grandfathers funeral. I found a dress that I thought would be perfect on a manikin, it was the only one in my size. I have purchased items off of mannequins before, but when I asked the other employee almost seemed offended and refused. She claimed that they could not take it off the mannequin because a corporate representative was coming to inspect the store and they needed to keep it on there to impress them. I’m sure that the corporate representative would prefer them to sell a product to a grieving customer than to impress them with a display. They could just put another dress on the mannequin in a different size.
