Came here to talk about the low inventory of things plus the return/exchange policy. I saw a comment 3 months prior to mine with the exact problem as me. I just wanted to exchange and buy more dresses, but pregnant brain here lost her receipt and didn’t have an account. I have bank statements showing proof of purchase ($92) and it was 6 days ago. I shop here and have never been asked about an account. Definitely going to Landry Kate, Willow House, Apple Boulevard for my shopping needs instead, not that I wasn’t before.

By far the best experience I’ve had at an Apricot Lane store. The manager was AMAZING! If you want to help a local business I would recommend shopping at this location. Customer service is Top Notch!

Beware Apricot Lane Mckinney has the most insane return policy so I’ll never be shopping here again. I had bought a dress for pictures and knew I needed to return within 10 days for store credit, which wasn’t a problem. But what I didn’t know/realize was that I had to return within 10 days and choose something else to “purchase”. They wouldn’t give store credit and let me “purchase” something else at a later date. I didn’t like much of the inventory and I wasn’t able to wait to get something else or I would have lost the money I had spent.

My lady and I stopped in while cruising downtown McKinney and found this gem of a shop. She picked up so many cute work outfits and the staff was so helpful and cool.

I had a terrible experience at Apricot Lane McKinney. The owner and beauty queen - Brieana LaCaze was rude, self promoting and shockingly unprofessional. I want to support local businesses and women bosses but I have never felt so uncomfortable. However the real issue was the clothing I purchased. The brands were new to me so I decided to get some outfits. They seemed pricey but they were cute!However when I got home I found holes in 2 tops. Actual holes in the seams. I washed the bottoms on gentle/ cold cycle and hung them to dry (as instructed). The bottoms literally frayed at the seams. I attempted to return them (3 items still had the tags on them) with a very heated conversation. No returns- when I asked about the quality the owner /beauty queen / mean girl said "everything is from china now.. what do you expect?" And "why wash them, I re-wear this stuff everyday." I have learned a lesson. Wanting to support small business and local women can cost you.I will never shop at this store and do not expect this store to last. McKinney is a small town and I understand the owner is Mrs.McKinney (as she told me multiple times) ...but I will take my shopping to the Red Hen and other shops that are not rude and carry merchandise not from third world sweat shops.

The service is fabulous. My husband shopped here for me for Christmas and the staff did all the hard work for him — everything was perfect! I love the fun styles, great selections, and the accessories. This is always a fun shopping experience.

This is hands down my favorite store to buy clothes from. I go in before every work trip and tell them where I’m going and we play dress up. They curate all my outfits and pick things I’d never normally even try on. The shop is so darn cute. Great quality clothes, fair prices. The staff is so sweet. They are very up front on the return policies (7 days generally) but have been flexible for small exchanges. I love this store. The owner is awesome!

Friendly, helpful, approachable, and knowledgeable: a perfect boutique experience. The beautiful clothing is suitable for teens and their moms and their moms! Highly recommend this shop!
