I can't say enough great things about David and his team. I needed some work done on my Ford 6.7, they got it in and out in a day and went the extra mile to fix a few minor things without charging a dime more. The truck drives better than it ever has!

Paid David $10,000 for F250 engine rebuild. It has been 15 months of excuses and no truck and now no responses to updates. Highly recommend reading all the reviews before giving David anything.

Had a leak on my truck and brought it to get diagnosed. They told me they could look at it the following day that I dropped it off. I gave them 3 days before following up trying to call and text with no calls back, no messages, absolutely zero communication. After 8 days I came in and took the truck back. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm very understanding things come and we are human but at least take the time to communicate with your customers. Especially after them trusting you with their vehicle. Now after a week without my truck I have to bring it to a different shop that will work on it.

Had them delete 2 of my trucks. My Freightliner they only did half of the project. Now the truck has an exhaust blockage. Called several times trying to get them to complete their work. They told me they would not make it right and complete the project. Before you pay these guys make sure they have done the work they promised.

Honest diesel mechanic. They were able to get my truck in and do some maintenance on it before the issues become a big problem later down the road. Would definitely take it back and let 3rd Coast Diesel work on it again.

Here’s my issue with this place: I had to reach out every time I wanted an update. Ordered parts in November and didn’t receive any until March and later. It always seemed to be a hassle when I asked any type of question. One part that I ordered was damaged; didn’t realize until we got it home. When I informed them, was told to bring it back (it’s over an hour from where I live) and then to come back again when the replacement arrived. I refused. Finally got all parts. I recommend they become proactive with communication; customers having to reach out for updates is not ok.

David and the boys over here at 3rd Coast have a customer service level like no other. I have had my truck in for a few different upgrades and repairs that I couldn’t figure out on my own. Referred several friends over to them as well. Everyone has told me nothing but good/great experiences. I highly recommend.

Worst experience of my life! I took my F250 in for a water leak and a few other issues. Long story short. 4 months or so later and $1,600.00 later I got my truck back and all the water leaks out overnight, have a bad oil leak on top of my motor where he installed a part, he forgot all of the other problems, and my motor is missing tons of bolts which were all there when I took it in. One headlight faced the ground after I got it back. It was just a careless hack job. I tried to contact the owner because he is the one who fid the "work" but he wouldn't return my messages or calls. I wouldn't let this place work on a bicycle. Oh and my dome light comes on when my doors are closed and go off when my doors open. I paid $1,600.00 for the owner to trash my truck.He said all of his mechanics quit during the time my truck was in his shop is what he told me.DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!

I've used this guy alot, unfortunately the only thing he's ever done for me, that didn't have to go to another shop to be corrected, was shocks. Last job I had him do was a $16k complete motor rebuild. He kept the truck 10 months. A day after getting truck, it had to go into another shop for loose up pipes. A month after driving the truck, I'm now adding oil and coolant every 4 weeks. Now 3 mo ths of having truck, it wouldn't start one day, sounded like bad starter, turns out started fell off due to not being tightened either. I'm now having to pay another $3k to have a lot of missing nuts, bolts and loose hardware fixed/replaced. This man is nothing more than a lube tech that subs all his jobs out.

We only take our Dodge truck here to 3rd Coast Diesels..I really trust the people and the work and the prices are good ...always willing to explain things and just good people and honest and up front...If you need some work done on your vehicles please dont think twice about going to 3rd Coast Diesels...you wont regret it
