Went in to this location today 4/8 at around 2:30pm, I was given a gift card for $20 and had used half of it at this store the day before with no issues however today when I tried to use the remaining balance I kept receiving a card reader error, there was a employee who was apparently off duty waiting to pay for some things after me and she kept trying to tell me in Spanish they “don’t normally sell or take those gift cards here” so I had to tell really because I just used it here the day before then she had the cashier move me to another register to get me out of the way because I was apparently bothering her with my issue which did not feel good. When they tried at the other register it gave the same response “card error” so I said is there a manger here who can help ? And the cashier was the manager… she just kept saying “no it’s not working” in so I asked ok well I know it has money can you see the balance and make a new card with the balance that works? And she just shook her head, so I said there is nothing you can do for me? And they said no. How can you make someone a manager of a store who does not know how to deal with a card reader error? More training is needed. Also I have worked for customer service for over 15 years, 2 major things employees in customer service should posses are friendliness and helpfulness this manager had neither, just a face of annoyance.
