My favorite fabric store! I love the owners they have always treated me very well even though I’m not a regular customer (as I live in Brownsville) and I usually look like a hot mess. The owners, 2 men that I can tell, Father and son maybe? always have a warm smile and won’t hesitate to help or get help. I love their knowledge of fabric and they will tell you what country they got it from and they actually fly out to buy! Fascinating to talk to. Because it takes a lot for me to get there I look a mess. They treat me like I’m important.
I noticed some people complained about some employees perhaps or maybe female owners? I know some are a little sour maybe? But I just ignore that and that happens on the clothing fabric side never yet on the upholstery and home fabric side where you find me at. The dress fabrics are very expensive and designer quality. The employees make me feel uncomfortable and anxious ? kinda like they want me to pick something and leave and I feel like my Spanish isn’t good enough for them. Who knows what problems they have just smile and act as if they are at their best! It won’t stop me for it’s a wonderful secret of a treasure of the most beautiful fabrics! There’s a lot of adorable helpful youthful employees that are so sweet and enchanting along with the elder owners their light outshines any of the not so happy ones! I hesitate to share this place because I want it all for myself!
