“Sure, this is a convenience store. But everyone in the Valley knows that the Valeros are the place to get the best breakfast tacos courtesy of the Laredo Taco Company. The tortillas are made in front of your eyes and they are gooood! Your grandma can't make em much better than this. And I have yet to find a taco filling I don't like. I especially like the chicharrones and bacon with egg. The Q taco is also an old favorite: beans, potato and egg, and a slice of yellow cheese. I don't remember this one being on the new menu (I may be wrong) but you can still order it. The prices have gone up. I remember the add-ins (beans, bacon, or cheese) being only 25 cents. The food still is hella cheap though. You get a lot for your money. For under two dollars, you can a breakfast taco so yummy and huge you'll forget about lunchtime when it comes around. An absolute Valley must.”

So when I put the phone number it still said I owed money. I took a screenshot and showed him when he charged me for 2 drinks instead of one. And still he acted like he did everything the right way. “I used to drop by every morning between 7:30-7:45 for the breakfast tacos and their coffee. Pauline is really sweet and nice, she's one of the cashiers. They do change shifts but I've never had issues with cashiers. On tacos, they have a potato, egg, and bacon taco, I think it's 1.67 or so. Terrible for health but really tasty! The ladies were super sweet, they knew my taco was on corn tortillas and would prep without me having to ask. They also have some of the better coffee available at convenience stores (I drink the Stripes one but come on, its super burnt sometimes). El Tigre changed their coffee pots a while ago and now offer a Texas Pecan Blend as well as some other selections. They don't taste burnt and can be had without a ton of sugar/cream.”

“This CVS is good. The pharmacy employees are knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. My prescription are usually ready sooner than expected. They have a drive-thru which is usually not used so very convenient for me. The rest of the store looks clean and organized, this location is usually not overcrowded and parking is very accessible.”

“As I was dropping off stuff to the Salvation Army, I spied this little nugget across the street. Drive thru michelada? Too good to be true. And indeed it was. You can't really drive through to get a michelada with beer inside... but you can drive through to get a Clamato Preparado with a beer ON the side. So I bought one of those suckers ($8?) and was about to drive off when something caught my eye. Smirnoff Preparada. What the heck? Turns out an SP is a 20 oz smirnoff icce, with gummy bears, chamoy and chile inside the beverage. Then on TOP of the beverage, more gummy bears, chamoy and chile. Obviously I had to get one. It tasted like sh... nothing good but the gummy bear chamoy concoction on top was delicious. All of these things are an acquired taste of course so feel free to experience this madness on your own.”
