HORRIBLE!! If I could do no stars I would......2019 Expedition was hesitating...took it in. Big Star Ford Services said I needed a completely new transmission. The repairs would cost $6,000 ++. I took it elsewhere for a second opinion. Ended up being a few cracked spark plugs and needed a tune-up. The work was less than $1,000!!! Big Star is a rip off! DO NOT GO THERE!

I received a recall notice on my 2018 Ford Escape. I have tried to schedule an appointment three times and was told all three times that someone would contact me to make the appointment. I have not been contacted.

Do not buy a car here. The used car dealership will talk you through the deal, but won't show you a paper with the prices and all the additions they've added to the car that is over and above the internet price they've shown. This is a typical bait-and-switch tactic. Bait with a low internet price, then put on wheel locks, nitrogen in the tires, location services, etc. Then they hand you to the commercial side of the house, where you sign documents on an electronic pad without seeing the actual document. I assume they have a lot of issues as they have multiple cameras in the deal room to cover themselves. The service center constantly tries to upsell you on unnecessary and expensive services. I had the pleasure of receiving a service on my car before they even called me to tell me the price of the service. Unbelievable. Please shop somewhere else. It's such a headache buying a used car at Big Star Ford, and servicing my car there as well.

BAIT & SWITCH = CROOKS. BS Ford had a bronco listed on cars.com and on their site for $50,300. I inquired about it, and received an email from Joshua explaining more info on it and that he'd reach out to me. LOW & BEHOLD the first thing I notice in his email is that the price is now $60,300. I go to my browser and see the price is still the original $50k. I click refresh and notice that their website price has changed and also notice that the cars.com price has changed too. I message Joshua telling him that the price magically changed and that I'm no longer interested. He doesn't even try to explain or have a conversation with me to try and salvage his/their reputation. He just says ok. Bunch of bums. Don't buy from this place. Also, BS Ford let me save you the time from your canned response - we all know you're not going to "investigate" the situation, and I'm not going to reach out to you in regards to how you can make my experience for next time better.

I'm not even the type to leave reviews or anything like that, this is my first time even ever writing a review because of how bad it was, but this place has some of the worst staff and customer service. Went in to get a replacement car key and felt like the staff knew just as much information as I had already walked in the door with, and after every question I asked they wouldn't give me a price on anything and would tell me they have to call someone first. This place is a scam highly recommend not going here!!!!!!

Took my truck after hitting a washout told them I was having issues with bad steering/leaking on the diff seal/4wd and to also check a rear leaking seal...they changed out the axle/seals front/back and the differential and apparently the wheel bearing and alignment was done .. so more than half new internals.. I continued to have popping noises from passenger front wheel ..continued to not work like I used to and my alignment need to be redone.. they replaced the same wheel bearing...( again ) and did an alignment (again) .. drove it off again still had popping passenger wheel .. I decided to take it to a suspension shop... the ball joints and torsion bar and other parts were replace... (Ford should have fixed from the beginning but was not diagnosed right) but not before they told me that my front diff housing was bent .. and was rubbing on my left front passenger side ....... So Big Star should have just charged me for a full front differential with new suspension parts and this would have been fixed right .... Here's the kicker ford doesn't just sell the housing you have to but it fully assembled.. big star has new parts in labor in a bent housing.. so what do they tell me when I take it back ... to take my truck to a frame shop for them to unbend the housing... I'm furious!!!! Throwing their mess up back on me when if diagnosed right it should have been fixed since the first time... place is a joke . They didn't take responsibility for their mess up ... they are untrustworthy ... here is a picture of it right before they told me to take it to a frame shop

I have been Ford customer for a very long time. My next car will not be Ford. I bought a Ford escape 2018, I have five recalls on it already. And when you take it in for the oil change which I purchased the advance value package, they do not do the proper oil change . My tires Did not get rotated, like it should , it's included in the package. All the liquids was not replaced or changed . Not only that, one time had a slash on my tire which they ended up fixing it because I caught it right away. Today I did a oil change the third one and the final one of my package , they absolutely did nothing except for change the oil. Everything else was left alone . tomorrow I'm taking my car somewhere else and pay for it to get a proper oil change. All those tanks were empty. They always lose your bolts for your tires. And there was no sticker on the windshield to tell me when is my next oil change. I'm done with Ford. I have complain to the headquarter before apparently no one cares. Do not take your car to Ford in Pearland/Manvel.

VERY GHETTO. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. My mother in law dropped off her Ford on Monday July 18, 2022 to have a recall issue fixed. They took her car completely apart, but they didnt even have the recall part in stock. Not once were we told when she brought it in for the recall issue, that they didn't have the recall part in stock. Why would you take a car apart for a recall issue and not have the recall part? After one week of us calling and calling and calling about if the car was ready (we kept speaking to a TJ) he told us the car had been taken a part and wouldnt be put back together. Excuse me?!?!?! I don't accept that answer. Today is August 8, 2022 and they still have my mother in laws car and it is still not fixed. TJ, one of their workers in the service dept is a liar and a POS and so is the service department General Manager, Rebecca, Rosemary or whatever the hell her name is. Its quite irrelevant, I just know they are ALL frauds and liars. My mother in law is 75 years old and this has been the biggest load of BS Ive ever seen. NO ONE has made any attempts to offer her a rental, a loaner or anything and we've asked for one several times; every time we call we ask for one! I have called 3x today. My husband has called 3x today. My mother in law has called 3x today and NOT one of us has gotten our calls answered or a return call. When we spoke to the service dept GM, rebecca or Rosemary last week (week 3 of this issue) she finally told the truth whereas TJ had been lying for 2 weeks. The truth of the situation is these mfers at Ford, when they went to put my MILs car back together (without the recall part) one of their super smart techs broke an original part on my MILs car. They broke a part that had nothing to do with the recall and they dont have that part in stock and they dont know when they are going to get it. So that's where we are. With a car that is now broken courtesy of Ford with absolutely no idea of when they will get the part in. They are so sorry, they havent even said "hey we ordered it" or nothing. Just a sorry group of people. Bout as sorry as a Ford vehicle to begin with. She wouldnt even be going through this s*** if it was Chevy but thats a whole nuther review. Week 4 of my MIL not having her vehicle because Ford broke a part and they are not offering any sort of loaner, rental or compensation. They broke a part and their attitude is pretty much "oh well". I pray that nothing but bad touches the lives of everyone involved until my MIL is taken care of. I speak that into existence. Its power in the tongue, you know.

So just for giggles I saw a 2019 Mustang in an ad for Big Star Ford and clicked on it to see what they would give me for my car. The quote they sent back wasn't even worth my time so I forgot about it. A couple of days later, Brandon reached out saying he could get me in the Mustang if I really wanted. I had a Mustang in the 80s that I wrecked and always wanted another one so told him sure no problem but had specific conditions on the payment and truthfully didn't think he could do it. Well, he did! He got me the price I wanted for my car and got me a lower payment for a newer car! Wow! I was so impressed. He told us he'd stay open as long as we needed to come pick up the car that Friday night as we were going out of town Saturday. So we both busted butt to get there and just as he said, Brandon was waiting with my name on the car and everything. We did the test drive and loved it and then everything else was super smooth! We were on and out in an hour I think? Brandon was amazing and made the process so smooth and easy! I know it sounds like I'm being paid but for reals it's never been this smooth and easy to buy a car. We did do a lot online beforehand so that helped but I would go back here in a heartbeat. And we had been repeat customers at another car dealer four out last two cars. But seriously check with Brandon if you want a great deal and great service! But hands off my pony, she's all mine!

DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT BIG STAR FORD!!! I brought my vehicle to Big Star Ford because I trusted the expertise that accompanies ford brand, but I was gravely mistaken. I feel like the service team was just shooting in the dark and charging me for their experimentation. I paid over $600 in diagnostic fees and I trusted that a complete diagnosis would be performed, but instead they took that money found some surface level stuff and led me to believe that if I paid the quoted price that my vehicle would be fixed. My original initial estimate was about 5-6K by the time everything was said and done the cost was up to 13K. They kept my vehicle for over a month and when I got it back it was actually in worst condition than when I dropped it off at Big Star Ford. After a month of them having my vehicle, I came to pick it up and before I could drive it off the lot my check engine light was back on, and the vehicle would not go over 50 MPH. I would think that after they made a repair someone would confirm that the repair actually fixed the problem. This obviously did not occur. A week later I came back to pick up my vehicle again and found that now my radio and rear-view camera were no longer working. I requested that someone look at it and I was told that my only option was to leave the vehicle for what I can only assume would be at least another week and a couple thousand more dollars. After being fed up I took my vehicle and left with no radio, no rear view camera, and the with the root cause never being addressed. I paid Big Star Ford over 8K and I feel as though I was taken advantage of. I was baited in with the low estimate and then once I was already locked in and had no other options they started finding things to repair all while never getting to the root cause. This was the worst service experience, and I will do what I can to ensure that they don't take advantage of anyone else in the same manner that they took advantage of me. DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED AT BIG STAR FORD!!!

Buyers BEWARE!!! I only am giving them one star so I can write a review. Came in to test drive their advertised Ford XLT Expedition 2021 Silver for $60,365. Spent 2 hours there. When we went to sit down to purchase the vehicle all of a sudden it is now 64k. How unethical!!! We got up and left. And the salesman could care less. "Oh well, sorry". He claimed because they had added upgrades they have to sell it for more. Fine, then don't advertise it for $60,365. You're liars. So sick of the whole vehicle bait and switch. There should be laws against this blatant misrepresentation of products.

If you can go to another dealership I would. At every step of the purchasing process this dealership has dropped the ball. I purchased a 2021 F-150 loaner vehicle with 1800 miles. When negotiating the price of the vehicle there was a 1,500 dollar dealer adjustment for a couple of scratches on the interior and exterior of the vehicle. At the very end I mention that I was military and they said there was a 500 dollar promotion. They gladly included that, however they managed to adjust the 1,500 dollar dealer adjustment to 1,000 dollar, nullifying the military discount. It wasn't until I mentioned it that they said, "oh that is a mistake" they corrected it. Next I purchased a spray in bed liner, I left the vehicle Friday night and was told it would be ready on Saturday, this included the spray in liner a wash and detail. Monday rolls around and I intend on picking up my vehicle that evening. I got a call saying the vehicle may be ready in the afternoon or evening. I said I need a more accurate time because I would be there at 5:30. The sales person said he would call me back in a few minutes to confirm a pick up time. Two hours later I had to call him twice and he did not pick up. I call the manager and he says yes it'll be ready at 5:30. I arrive and the vehicle had dog hair all over the interior. I called the next day and another sales person said bring it back and we can detail it again to make it right. A hour and a half later there is still dog hair everywhere and no significant attempt to clean the vehicle has been made. These were the most significant issues but there were many minor ones throughout the process. I am significantly displeased with the service especially after spending over 50,000.
