I purchased a battery for my car at BatteriesPlus on Debbie Lane in Mansfield, yesterday and had the best customer service from Neil Mallard. He was courteous, professional and quick too! Changed out my battery in minutes. I highly recommend stopping in to see Neil in you’re in need of battery!

I pre-paid for a keyfob to get delivered with the store manager Joe Roberts. He told my keyfob would arrive on 2-10-24. I told Joe that I am busy with work and would let him know when I am available to get it programmed. Joe said no problem, gave me my receipt and I left. I called Joe on 2-22-24 and asked if I could get it installed the next day on 2-23-24. Joe scheduled me to come in at 2pm on 2-23-24. I arrived today and told Joe I'm here to get my keyfob programmed and he said we sold that. He had no remorse about it whatsoever. He even tried to blame me for not showing up on the 10th. Not one time did he take accountability for selling something that was already purchased. It didn't exist in the store until I pad for it! They were out of stock. He didn't even care that he gave the worst customer service possible. I am not from here and he doesn't know me personally, so why the piss poor attitude? Maybe because I am a non-white person, Joe's attitude towards me doesn't make me think differently...Now I get an automated reply from the owner to talk to the person that screwed up. After reading the other reviews its obvious that they don't care. The alleged 'good' reviews are probably fake. Stay away from this place, this business doesn't care how it treats people. Stay away from this store if you want to be respected for spending your money.

Joe roberts the manager is very rude and no customer service. He basically charged my daughter 75 to get her phone fixed and did not go over the possibilities of it not working after . Her phone was working fine before she got it fixed just had lines and now it's been glitching ever since. He refused to take accountable and said he doesn't have to go over the risk before getting it fixed and that's commen sense. Very rude and unprofessional. Would never use them again. Do not get your phone fixed here as they do not guarantee that it will properly work afterwards. He broke something upon fixing it and doesn't want to admit .

Batteries Plus is a good business. Why two stars?Vehicle batteries customer experience is poor. I purchased a battery for my vehicle in another state. My vehicle failed to start; I took it to this location…. Asked them to look up my warranty.Response: You have to do at the location where you purchased the battery. I can’t do that here. What? You have locations from CA to Texas. I’ve gone to other Batteries Plus locations; those locations always found my purchase. Make it make sense.I asked to have my battery checked to see if it needed replacing.Response: You have to take the battery out and bring it into the store….Not at the 5 other locations I’ve visited.I’m done with batteries plus for vehicles. Only for those odd battery sizes and needs.

Niel Mallard at Batteries + provided some of the best customer service I've seen in a long time. I purchased a car battery in a different state over 2 years ago, it does recently and he made sure to contact the store we bought and talk about the warranty still being current to ensure we'd be taken care of, then he found a store that had the same model and made sure that the store knew we were coming so wed be taken care of. He went above and beyond. Thank you sir for your great service ??
