Remember a year ago when you thought shopping at HEB couldn't possibly get worse between trying not to get hit in the over packed parking lot or stuck down a narrow isle... they found a way to make it worse. Perhaps while we're remodeling let's not park an 18 wheeler in front of the main entrances for a delivery at 6pm and maybe just maybe cut back on the curbside shoppers so we can actually get down the narrow isles without dodging your giant red carts. I'll return when this stupidity is over.

Staff is extremely disrespectful, short, act like they hate their job & the fact they even have to work there. The store itself is packed with customers many of who are significantly rude (typical of Lufkin)making shopping incredibly unpleasant. You can't get any in store without wading through the ridiculous amount of people crowding the aisles. Self check out is a frustrating, hair pulling joke. The bagging area is constantly not registering your merchandise making the convenient check out time a nightmare. The saving or lack of is not worth the stress. The only good thing to add is the store is well stocked

Always seem to be out of certain stock lately, limited on what is available in store, bought hamburger meat two different times and brought it home to find it was already going bad as I was rebagging it in the past five weeks, and a whole chicken that still had pin feathers attached to the wings - that was a delightful find. I get that they're building on to "make it better" but if you're going to start slacking now on quality, can't expect better. Also, spend more time teaching your new baggers how to bag correctly. I had to help the last one understand you don't bag jars and cans together in one bag without cushioning, so they don't break. The cashier didn't seem to understand this either.

Older store, small. Didn't have some of the usual things that I buy at a larger HEB, but that's ok. They are currently expanding and I can't wait!

I work in construction, and needed to buy a pallet of water for my crew. I finally got someone to make eye contact and speak to me, only to be told that they wouldn't sell me a pallet of water, so they would have it to sell........ My crew will be hydrated by another store, which will receive a 5 star review.
