I purchased a cash vehicle and got a great deal on a 2011 Nissan . Chris was super nice and the owner took my first offer that was $500 less than the asking price. I'm satisfied with my purchase and I highly recommend!

I bought a used vehicle from "LONE STAR CAR CO" in Lubbock, Tx on Nov
23, '20. During the test drive, it was super good. Smooth, sensitive, real nice. The dealership said "It's a reliable vehicle for a senior citizen living alone". Yesterday, Nov 30 exactly a week later, it quit running stranding me luckily in town. Definitely not a battery problem. I know about the policy I bought it as is but I called the dealership anyway out of bad luck and frustration. That extra nice young dude that sold me the vehicle hanged up not even half a minute into the conversation. What a change in attitude. I'm giving them a ZERO STAR but I have to put one to make this review.

I only gave one star due to the young man I bought the car from was nice.. I paid cash for the car and tags on February 26,2020 and was told my tags would be in or mailed to me in 2 weeks.. On March 26 I called and the owner answered and I explained to him about my tags, he said they were closed due to covid19 and I said I understand but my tag expires in April.. He told me he didnt need my attitude, I said I'm not getting mad I just need my tag before it expires.. He hung up on me and then I called back, left a message and now they ignore me ... He was so hateful, and I only need my tag that I paid for now almost 2 months ago..

Saw a van at the place and the sticker price was 4500.00 went to get it this morning and the price all the sudden went up 4900.00 don't know who these people think I am but they are crooks do not buy nothing from them at all.

Bought a car here and it was a lemon. They do something for it to pass driving test then wouldn't go faster than 40 miles per hour. Lost $3500 for a car they wouldn't even trade for a better one. They took 2 months to get my tags, so I couldn't trade it in. I only 1000 for trade in. When I tried to talk to owner he yelled at me and got in my face, he scared my daughter and granddaughter. Lone Star car company is worst place ever!!

I am rating a 3 because of customer service issues. Bought the car ( for a good deal) June 19th waited almost a month for plates and registration, after being told it would be ready that week. No one called us with an update on what was going on and had to call weekly to see just to be asked to call back because no one was sure what was going on. We called right after we left to note we forgot the floor mats and we would pick them up with the plates. The company knew we were going out of state and did not want to be pulled over for lack of. After calling multiple times about it and noting we left the floor mats the plates and registration were finally ready but of course they have no clue where the mats are.
