While I do enjoy their help, this is the second time they've given me one quote over the phone and then when we get checked in it's about $50 more per animal. I wish they gave the price with not just the procedure but the other items that come with the procedure because obviously medicine is going to be included in the price at the end and if they have to stay over night there is going to be a boarding fee. That's just bad business.

We came across this gem before Dr. Nick Koten took over. Then, Dr Koten took over, I must say he’s a very trusted Dr. I live in Dallas Tx, i tried vets in Dallas, and they are gimmicks. Dr Koten, is a very trustworthy, caring and direct person. He’s definitely worth the hour and 30 minute drive. He’s an expert when it comes to my chihuahua. Thanks Dr Koten, pray your business prospers. Also, the staff is very friendly and caring, you can tell they love their job. I ALWAYS have a pleasant experience HERE.

Took my daughters cat here because he was acting ill. Vet said he was depressed because he had been in fight. He gave him some antibiotics and fluids and me a $160.00 bill. Next day he was no better so took him back. Vet went to give him something to relax him so he could draw blood and said his heart stopped. He was three years old! The most disturbing part is when my extremely distraught daughter showed up to pick up his body so we could bury him, she was charged $80.00! He wasn't there 10 minutes before he expired. Basically, They charged us to kill him. I have used this vet for years and been happy, but that was just greedy. I was in shock when she told me this. I don't plan to return.

For vet care there is none better! My dogs are also happy to be boarded here. I gave them 3 stars because of the change to their boarding policy. Drop off is now only 8-11 and pickup is only 3-5. They are closed at lunch. If you pick up after 11, it’s an additional fee. When I asked if they were going to expand their hours to 7:30-5:30 to accommodate their working boarding customers I was told no. Because of the limited hours for pickup I ended up paying for an extra night of boarding and a late pickup fee the last time I boarded my dogs. We usually board for 3-4 nights for 2 dogs so it isn’t exactly cheap already.
There is a different animal clinic in town who also boards, has drop off and pickups that work with my schedule, who is equally wonderful. We will be switching to them for our boarding.

I just wanted to comment on how kind everyone here is so kind we found a stray cat took him in to the vet to be checked and get flea meds I was able to get an appointment the same day I called reception staff was friendly once we got there wait time was short when we got in we found out he is FIV positive where I used to live the vet would’ve e said it was a death sentence and told me to put him down but these folks told me all the options and what they can do to help the vet told me they could get him next day to be neutered when I picked him up from being neutered he was fully awake and didn’t seem traumatized at all you can tell these folks do a great job and love it I highly recommend them for any pet needs thank you so much everyone at Lindale Pet Hospital!!!! Also got a text asking how he’s doing 3 days later great customer service

Friendly people work there! My dog is overweight and the Vet did not chastise me for being a poor pet owner, but gave me a plan for reducing his caloric intake. Highly recommend this Pet hospital.

I got a prescription here for my dog's much-needed pain meds. However, they refused to give me the prescription so that I could order pain meds online.
The meds were $75 per 60 in the office, which I gladly paid to get them same-day.
However, I found the medication for $25 online. But, I was unable to order it online, due to this vet's refusal to provide me with my prescription. Had I known they were going to do this, I would've chosen a different vet in the first place. I will not be returning. 3x the price elsewhere is absolutely ridiculous.
I will be going to Hide-A-Way Small Animal Clinic, which I've spoken to over the phone. They confirmed that they will provide me with a prescription with which I can order medication online.
Update: Hideaway was significantly cheaper for the checkup, they gave me free medication to hold me over until more arrived, and they gave me the prescription no problem.

This would be a zero star if I could. I've been happily taking my dog here for 4 yrs and as soon as they did their expensive remodel, everything has gone down hill from there. Zero accountability for their mistakes in communication and terrible customer service. As a business when you start to blame the customer for YOUR mistakes, it is a giant neon sign telling people "please don't support our business anymore." Much obliged.

Lindale pet hospital is the absolute best!
All staff are caring, compassionate, and professional. Dr. Koten is very thorough! By far the best experience I have ever had with a veterinarian. They care as much about our animals as we do! The price after every vet visit always impresses me as well. The building is super clean. They have always made time for me in an emergency situation. They schedule appointments quickly and efficiently. Sometimes next day appointments. I can't say enough good things about this vet. Amazing. Ty!

Staff was simply wonderful. Our pet potbelly pig needed emergency treatment, they worked him in ASAP, and they were very professional but compassionate, and we are in their debt for their service. Thank you!
