Young man at the front desk gave me a top floor, very nice of him.But, the walls all had water damage from a roof leak. Not a good look.I probably wouldn't have said anything but then, a month later, they double charged my credit card with an extra $1,000.The billing lady was unhelpful.Walkability: very walkable location

The description would indicate that the hotel is near the convention center. It is six blocks away. The hotel could use an advanced cleaning. But, it is far from bad.

Very bad place to stay. The breakfast service was awful. The hotel went out of its way to make it impossible to speak to someone about it. The front desk said that all the staff was in a meeting all day. They gave me a card of the Food and Beverage Manager to call. When you call, they say send him an email and hie is not available. What kind of hospitality industry makes it this hard for someone to talk to a person regarding poor hospitality?Rooms: dark and dingy. old.Nearby activities: Loud metro train noises.Food & drinks: Very expensive and poor quality service.

THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO with the Marriot, it was the RED COACH DEPOT. The Marriott is great for hosting waiting passengers, but RED COACH needs to up their game if they want to stay in business. Scheduled ride to DFW had mechanical problem, resulting in a two and a half hour delay which eventually had to be cancelled. ....if youre offering a discounted ride service, i guess that's what you get?? (took VONLANE the next morning, ...a world of difference)

This staff makes you not want to visit Houston At all. If the staff act like that imagine how the rest of the people in Houston act. Life is too good to have attitudes about every little thing smh..The only way to get an accurate answer to anything is to speak with management. . You Cant even open a window to get fresh air in the room, If your claustrophobic this is not the place for you.. Price not worth that experience. These rooms should be priced $60 or under.The only good part of this is that the Location is convenient and the valet guys are way nicer and have better customer service skills, They are the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. If it wasn't for them I would find a way to rate 0

Hotel is in a great location, but everything inside of it was terrible. Customer service reps were clearly sick with something (which is likely how I caught something), the food and drink options were sub par and the beds were so uncomfortable that I had to see a doctor about back pain when I got home. There are a million Marriotts within .25 of a mile, try one of those first

This hotel service was extremely disappointing. Despite booking a room the night before my arrival (20th) and clearly communicating my early morning arrival on the 21st via Bonvoy app, the hotel inexplicably canceled my reservation despite my request not to. As a Bonvoy Gold member, I expected better treatment. I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with this experience and will not be returning to this establishment.

THE HOTEL STAFF STOLE OUR LUGGAGE.The hotel staff stole my stepmother’s luggage. She checked in into her room and by the evening that same day, both her carry-on and her main suitcase had completely vanished from the room.The hotel is being extremely disrespectful and unhelpful when we ask for an explanation and a solution.DO NOT GO.

There are thieves working here! DO NOT BOOK ¡Could you ever have imagined that at a hotel from a renowned brand like Marriott, your luggage would disappear without a trace? Well, that's what happened to me at this hotel. After checking in the morning and attending work meetings, being my first time in Houston, my Carry-On was not more in my room. Upon my return at 9 pm, my entire suitcase had disappeared, including items I had taken out before leaving, like my makeup bag and a pair of Golden Goose sneakers. The hotel refuses to take responsibility.We will sue Marriott for damages and losses; this has to be known!Safety: There are thieves working here! Terrible experience. Please be careful with this hotel, a colleague in our group who stayed at this place had her suitcase stolen while we were away. Hotel response "we are not responsible." This is far from what the Marriott brand is supposed to be.
