Was there with my friend and her dog yesterday. Misdiagnosed dog, was charged twice the retail cost for each medication. (9 prescriptions all were useless due to nausea) And was rude to my friend. (Owner) The dog is currently having emergency exploratory surgery in Marble Falls. Completely disheartening. The visit felt financially motivated with no care at all.

Long waits because they schedule more than one at a time. Assistants do most of the work, and the vet comes in at the end to make sure all is okay with pets and owners.

Pretty ridiculous. Had my dog scheduled for a neuter - was told I needed to wait there until after my dog was sedated. I was there at 750am - waited until about 1030. I was told the doctor was late, and then when he was there - there was just chaos happening. I was trying to understand what the plan was for getting imaging on my dog's stomach (due to him eating half of a racquet ball a couple weeks earlier). I had communicated this AT LEAST a week earlier and made plans to have imaging done at the same time as the neuter and dental surgery. I had to re-explain it when I arrived - and then again to the vet tech. Still, after MULTIPLE attempts at getting an answer on what the plan was - I was only told that "the doctor didn't provide an answer yet" and then the next time it was "I could take him to a specialist". At which point, since I was still waiting on the sedation - I asked if something was wrong with the Dr Rocky - like if he was at all distracted or stressed or rushed - I didn't want him to operate on my dog. All I was told was, "I understand that concern". Period. No explanation or reassurance that he was good to operate. So I stated one more time that I was going to leave because I couldn't get a straight answer to what was going on - my dog being pre-drugged and all. Again, I was told, "that was fine". Meanwhile, I could hear the staff talking about a chair in another room that had been peed on or something - and all they did was spray some stuff on it to make it "smell better".
So - I walked out (after having to pay $178 for a blood test that couldn't be repurposed due to their questioning competency). Lampasas "happily" transferred my records to Aztec Pet Hospital - I second the comment another reviewer made - these people literally DO NOT CARE about losing customers.
I was able to be seen at Aztec the same day where the vet ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING about my dog's digestive issue - after MULTIPLE visits to Lampasas Veterinary Clinic for the same thing. I would highly recommend trying Aztec Pet Hospital - and so far as pricing? They are about $400 dollars cheaper for the same neuter/dental cleaning I had scheduled at Lampasas. Friendly staff, clean rooms, knowledgeable doctors - save your money and your time and protect your pets - go to Aztec.

Very disappointed. After you check in they take you & your pets back to an exam room. They ask you a bunch of questions. Then they remove your pet (YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ATTEND) for the examination with the doctor. They take your baby somewhere in the back to be examined by the doctor. Call me old fashioned but not being with my baby during their doctor visit is a huge OH HECK NO. Everything else was fine. I was so looking forward to the type of positive experience we always had with our vet we had when we lived in Georgetown. Fortunately neither one of my pets have to come back until December so I have lots of time to decide if I’ll be back or go elsewhere. There’s no reason to remove my pets from my care while the doctor does the examination. What is your pets have separation anxiety? Nope. No way

Very disappointed with the service.
The last time I took my cat in she couldn’t walk for 2 days and cried non stop.
They recommended lots of testing for my dog and told me they would approve my dog’s medication if I ordered it online. And then refused to approve the medicine without redoing the testing, and charging me a second time.
The service was not friendly, and my experiences were not great. It wasn’t just one event it was a series of events and follow-ups that make me say, I will not go back and don’t recommend this clinic.
There’s other caring and friendlier vets in the area!

They are genuinely kind and gentle with my dogs, 16 year old Benjamin and my 8 month old Frenchie, Ozzy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’ve taken such god care them I recommend them to everyone. Thank you guys so much

Being new to this area, my family looked in to this clinic for our pets.The actual Vet seems like a decent person, however the office staff and office manager were very unprofessional.They did not like that customers asked questions, like when you make an appointment you are not told upfront about a deposit needed, they waited until a week or so later to contact us about this. When asked the cost for the visit the office manager did not state the whole truth and information. Upon my questioning this unprofessionalism, I was immediately banned.So if you want a decent, professional clinic for your fur babies, look elsewhere.K. Tinker

Dr. Beth is the most incredible veterinarian I’ve ever used for my fur babies! Open, honest, and her empathy in the situation in which I was going through with my big boy Jack. She was forthright and made an impossible decision easier for me to make. My sweet Jack is over the Rainbows Bridge playing like a puppy… And always in my heart! Thank you to the entire staff of the Lampasas Veterinary Clinic help me with making a difficult decision, which was best for my furry family member. God Bless!
